This month’s candies were Dorval Sour Power Cola Belts, Vidal Gummy Volcanoes, Primrose Sanded Fruit Bowl Mix, and  Atkinson’s Chick-O-Stick.

The back of the information card contains the nutritional details for each candy. This month’s information cards are different. There are separate cards for each candy.

The nutritional information is on the back of each card. You can select each candy in your box now so that’s the reason for the card change.

First on my list is the Dorval Sour Power Cola Belts. These are a strip of candy coated with sour sugar with a great cola flavor. Very tasty.  Once again this candy is almost gone and it is only day one. LOL!

My son had to be my first taste tester this time. I think he enjoyed his job.

Next is the Vidal Gummy Volcanoes. These are an adorable shaped gummy candy with a sugary coating.  They come from Spain and are quite delicious. I love chewy candies.

Next is the Primrose Sanded Fruit Bowl Mix. This is a mix of fruit flavored hard candies with candied coating. The flavors are tart lemon, tangy lime, sweet orange, and ripe raspberry. They remind me of the the hard candies I would find at my grandparents’ house when I was a little girl.

The surprise candy this month was Atkinson’s Chick-O-Sticks. I absolutely LOVE Chick-O-Sticks!!!!!! Omg I squealed when I saw them. This is a classic candy from the 50’s. It is a mix of crunchy peanut butter and toasted coconut. They are so delicious and I have to admit I ate most of them already.

I so enjoyed this month’s box. Yes I did share with my boys as they kept giving me those big ol’ puppy dog eyes. What candies did you get? Sweet, sour , or classic? Let me know what your favorite candy is.

We highly recommend Candy Club. It is well worth the monthly fee if you’re in the market for this type of candy (you can pretty much buy all the candies in bulk online, but it’s not nearly as fun, and the value is probably on par with higher end candy stores  – Dylan’s Candy Bar sells “Paint Cans” of candy for $16 each!) and your sweet/sour tooth will thank you for it.
