The info card features some pretty artwork.
There’s an information card that lists the contents of this month’s box, with a short description and retail price. The theme is ESCAPE.
Each box comes with a small magazine issue which includes information on the featured essential oils, and more.
You’ll also get a bit of idea on what this month’s essential oil is in this magazine. It’s always useful to know how these oils can be used in your beuty regimen.
This month’s featured brands are Eastern Boho and J’Aime.
I learned a lot just by going through this magazine.
The box itself looks fairly simple but the contents are everything.
The box is full of goodies!
Everything inside this month’s box!
True Clutch True2Go Handle ($0.99) I can now bring my water bottle with me wherever I go, without having to hold it all the time. This useful handle can be easily attached to a bag, just fasten the band around the middle of the bottle and secure the carabiner to the bag.
The silicone grip prevents your bottle from slipping or sliding from the handle even when it is filled with water.
The silicone holder is thick enough, and the carabiner is made from stainless steel.
O.R.G. Skincare Travel Size Oxygen Cleanser ($5) This oxygen cleanser is travel-sized. It easily removes dirt and other impurities from your face while keeping your skin soft and smooth.
This cleanser is paraben, alcohol, and petroleum free. It has the ability to really get deep into the skin to remove all those dirt, sweat, and oil. I like that it is in a travel-friendly container, so I can bubble pack when I travel!
Babo Botanicals After Sun Soothing Hydrating Aloe Gel ($14.95) Sunbathing or spending a few hours outdoors can leave your skin feeling hot. This hydrating gel seems heaven-sent as it has aloe vera in it which is known for its soothing and healing properties. My skin feels so much better after some time in the sun when I apply this gel all over my body. I love it!
It’s also packed with green tea, arnica, witch hazel, and eucalyptus oil. There’s no sticky residue after application, just a cool and refreshing feeling.
Enjoy Life Chewy Bar ($1) There’s an edible treat in this month’s box, a softly-baked snack bar that is allergen free. I love that it is gluten-free too which means that everyone can enjoy it. It’s also nut-free, and the chocolate used is dairy-free and semi-sweet.
J’Aime Earth Essence Oil ($24) The essential oil arrived in a drawstring pouch.
Inside the pouch is this bottle of Earth essential oil and an information card from J’Aime.
J’Aime is known their artisan products like this essential oil that can be used by both men and women. It’s an all-natural fragrance oil that contains minerals such as tigers eyes, onyx, aventurine, rose quartz, and citrine. Each mineral has a corresponding benefit too.
I am impressed that these stones are added into this bottle of fragrance. The scent itself is summery and sexy with a hint of musk to it for a subtle fragrance that is perfect for both men and women.
F’Lint Metallic Lint Roller ($9.99) I never knew that a lint roller could be this nice. I received it in a metallic mint green.
It comes with a refillable 30-sheet Flint refill. The roller is pretty easy to use and it’s portable too.
Bombay & Cedar Palmarosa Essential Oil ($14) This essential oil blend is good for diffusing if you need some help falling asleep at night. It blends well with rose, geranium, lavender, bergamot, sandalwood, lime, orange, and ylang ylang.
Bombay & Cedar Roman Chamomile Essential Oil ($19) Chamomile promotes rest and relaxation while boosting the nervous system. It blends well with bergamot, clary sage, lavender, jasmine, geranium, grapefruit, tea tree, rose, lemon, lime, and ylang ylang.
The essential oils arrived with individual info cards. I love that I can blend them with other essential oils when I want to make my own scent. A little definitely goes a long way with these essential oils.
Essential oils need to be stored properly to preserve their quality. Bombay & Cedar uses dark bottles so that the UV rays from the sun won’t affect the composition of the oils. I am a sucker for essential oils and these two are definitely worth testing out.
You can use these oils topically too as long as you dilute it first with a carrier oil.
This Journal Is Going Places By Knock Knock Stuff ($16.30; $15 on the card) Who doesn’t love to travel? I, for one, love to explore and this journal looks like it’s going to be my best friend while I am on the road. And can I just say that the title on the cover is so apt? I love it!
How can you not love this journal? I love that it really entices you to record all those happy moments in your adventure planning and it even encourages you to go out and explore some more. It’s a six travel journal in one which means that I am off to make new memories!
The pages of this journal are already divided into six so you’ll have plenty of space to write down about your adventures. I love that it’s already divided because now I can get to make use of all the pages as I see fit. How cool is that?
Look! There’s a grid type of paper included here which is great for those maps and sketches that you can jot down while you are on the road. Plenty of room to doodle!
So what’s my second destination? I love the way that this journal lets you put a location and date for your next trip. It’s like you are writing the second chapter here! I can’t wait to fill this up!
I always make sure that I research the places that I want to visit and list down all the items that I need to bring with me so my trip will go smoothly. This page allows me to keep all the information on hand and I get to tick off my list too. I love it!
Eastern Boho Turkish Towel ($39; $44 on the card) I fell in love immediately with this Turkish towel. It looks so comfy, yet so luxurious!
It is hand-loomed in Turkey using high-quality materials and dyes. The towel is super absorbent, lightweight, and dries quickly so you can bring it with you wherever you go. It’s very high quality – no superthin towel here!
Bombay & Cedar has definitely surprised me with its curated items on this month’s box. I love how the collection encourages us to go and escape the hustle and bustle of the daily grind. Everything in this box is a gift for me especially the journal and the Turkish towel. The rest makes my adventures that more enjoyable. The monthly supply of essential oils make me happy too, they’re great for relaxation and they’re easy to use whether topically or with diffusers. All of these luxurious items for $49.95 a month is really worth it!
