Barkbox is a monthly subscription box just for dogs. Each box has 4-6 dog products and are customized to the size of your pup, plus it has a cute theme that you and your dog will get a kick out of.
This Barkbox is for small dogs like our miniature schnauzer, Lindy, but you can get them for medium and large dogs too — check out our Barkbox reviews for a peek at the big dog boxes! NEW: the heavy chewer box!
This month’s custom paper is safari-themed!
DEAL: Save $10 on your first box with promo code MS10X1213 though it should pop up automatically.
BarkBox always does a great job of fleshing out the theme of each box and making the inserts and box decor fun. It’s always good for a laugh!
The box theme is Sniffin’ Safari.
The information card. BarkBox features toys and snacks celebrating travels around the world. Information on all the items in the box can be found on the site, or by using the BarkBox app!
And here are this month’s cute dog items!

Chewfasa the Lion ($10) This squeaky toy is super fun for dogs – the mane just totally “activated” Lindy into let’s kill it mode! Pretty sure she lost it when it started squeaking. Basically the entire back is covered with the fur, it’s so cute!

Bark & Co Dr. Licking Stone ($8) I presume this is Dr. Licking Stone! Bahahah.

This fun squeaker is great for fetching and it actually has 3 squeaks inside the plush!
Now Lindy’s fave part: the TREATS!
Koha Pork Jerky ($8) These are so great because they have a teeny tiny bite size – perfect for a small dog or for training. They’re grain free and made with pork liver & venison. They were super fresh too, with a best buy date at the end of next year!
Prime Dog Treats Lamb and Sweet Potato Trainers ($7) These also had a (slightly larger) teeny tiny bite size. They’re also grain-free with the added benefit of being gluten-free too. Lindy jumped for joy over these (they have sweet potato, her favorite!).
Butcher’s Block Bones Trachea ($3) Our dog adores “krunchie tubes”, which are beef trachea. Even though they’re rather gross, as the package says they’re a great source of joint-healthy compounds and that will help keep our pups spry!

Lindy can’t decide what to take first (I think it’s a treat, look at that little tongue!). Barkbox is a fantastic fun subscription box with great themes. Our dog was extra pleased this month – a toy that reminds her of some sort of rodent and THREE snacks! The value was on par with previous boxes, about $36. We always recommend getting a longer term subscription for the best value on this box.
