The Wright Club is a monthly subscription box showcasing the best North Carolina has to offer – and it’s only $10 per month with free shipping! Choose to tailor your box around either the coastal or mountain area of North Carolina, to receive more info about beer, cocktails, wine, or none, and then refine your tastes to include food & cooking, clothing & accessories, arts & crafts, health & beauty, home & garden, or outdoor & sports.
Let’s peek inside!
The card has little bios on all the producers in the box. Everything that came in the October box!
Haldane Creative Art TraveLife Postcard (shown above)- This is a faux magazine cover and honestly, it looks just like a Smoky Mountains postcard. You wouldn’t know it wasn’t a real magazine except this is a postcard. You can purchase this artwork on a variety of items, too.
John Haldane took the photo in the Blue Ridge mountains and created the faux magazine cover.
The box included a “This Month In History” card, which described the North Carolina State Fair in 1853! Black Dog Gourmet Sauce Company Dog-Gone-Good Chicken & Rib BBQ Sauce ($6.99) From Greensboro, this is a sweeter thicker sauce that is totally all natural that’s great for pork ribs, chicken, game meats and wings. I love getting craft BBQ sauces in boxes and this was great! S&D Coffee Cafe Terrosso ($2.80) This Durham coffee roaster has been roasting for 80 years. Included in the box was a 3 ounce bag of ground beans (the right choice for a non-coffee subscription). Cafe Terrosso is ” a deep dark roast presenting a full bodied coffee with a pleasing sweet caramel aroma and a mellow dark chocolate and caramel taste.” Four Saints Brewing Company in Asheboro sent along a nice magnet and a keychain beer opener!
An official North Carolina State Transportation Map was included. We will save this one for the next time we visit Jen! For $10 including shipping we thought this was a great box and we were surprised that it wasn’t just swag. North Carolina has a lot to offer and this was a nice way to get a little taste of some local producers, some state history, plus information about other local businesses and artisans. OMG I had no clue there was such a box and I agree what a great value. Funny but if you had told me S&D I would have said Concord, NC since there is a plant there and you can smell coffee everytime you go by. I actually live right next to Durham and had no clue they were over there too.
Oh and YES you need to come down here 🙂 Although we may need to come up there too N is obsessed with football and whenever I say you I usually say your college and now he can tell me all about it. LOL
