Ginkgo & Grace is a bimonthly subscription box that delivers beauty and skin care products curated especially for modern, mature women. Boxes feature upscale products for you to try in your home and brands are selected for their commitment to utilizing natural ingredients and their concern for the environment. Ginkgo & Grace is $85 a shipment plus $8 for shipping and currently ships to the lower 48 states. This box is scheduled to ship in January, March, May, July, September, and November. Here’s a little info about how this box got its name:

Have you ever seen a Ginkgo tree in the fall? They are golden and radiant, breathtakingly beautiful. Ginkgo & Grace celebrates this beautiful season of a woman’s life; women confident in the elegant grace that only comes with maturity.

I received a card with info on the products in the box!

The box itself was matte white and had a removable lid, and it can be reused for storing items, as a gift box, or any number of uses. The tissue paper had ginkgo leaves all over it and the box was wrapped in a satin ribbon held closed by a sticker.

My items were tucked into shredded paper squiggles and everything looked great. I was really excited when I saw the products, I love these brands!

Everything in my box!

A candy from Christopher Elbow Chocolates ($2.67) was a sweet touch! I am pretty sure it was one of their Fleur de Sel caramels and it was a super tasty treat!

The first item came with an info card.

Texere Yosemite River Silk Scarf ($21.99) This scarf is made of silk and the colors and patterns are inspired by the Yosemite River.

It was made in China of mulberry silk. Hand wash only.

It is pretty large, 43″ x 43″, and the colors are perfect for spring and summer. If you are not into wearing scarfs then they look wonderful tied around a handbag.

Native Nectar Brightening Toning Mist ($27) I have encountered Native Nectar products before so I was pleased to see two of them in this box!

You can mist this over skin after cleansing to remove remaining traces of makeup and to deliver botanicals to your skin. It may help to reduce the signs of aging. I didn’t spray directly on my skin, I sprayed it on a cotton pad instead and then wiped my face.

Ingredients were listed on a hang tag and include aloe, hibiscus, and rose otto. The smell is a little distracting but it fades quickly.

Native Nectar Botanicals Rose Revival Cream ($32) A creamy moisturizer makes a nice change from the oils I’ve been using all winter.

Hyaluronic acid helps keep skin moist and plump while aloe and green tea sooth skin and other plant stuff adds their benefits, like helping with cell turnover and softening wrinkles.

It looks like this product usually comes in a box and Ginkgo & Grace kindly included the parts with the ingredients listed. The scent of this fast-absorbing lotion is better than the spray and it left my skin feeling soft!

Natural Inspirations Fragrance-Free Ultra-Hydrating Hand Creme ($9.50) I have a ton of hand creams but rarely use any of them because I don’t want my hands to be covered in fragrance all the time, it can be distracting sometimes!

Coconut oil, shea butter, and apricot oil along with other plant oils are some of the ingredients. My hands absorbed it quickly without feeling greasy but it did leave them soft afterwards! I will keep this nearby and apply it often!

HAN Skincare Cosmetics All Natural Cheek & Lip Tint in Rose Berry ($16) I am a big fan of HAN’s makeup and to find TWO items in the box was a wonderful treat!

Ingredients were found on the box and consist of shea butter, argan oil, and other plant-based ingredients.

I received the shade Rose Berry, which is a rosy mauve color. Just roll it over cheeks or apply with a brush or fingers. I swiped it on my cheeks and then blended it in for a flushed look. It can also be applied to lips. I was happy to see that it wasn’t glittery, I prefer a matte face for day.

HAN Skincare Cosmetics All Natural Bronzer in Malibu ($16) I don’t currently own any bronzer so this was a nice treat to add to my collection!

Ingredients were listed on the box and I was happy to see, or not see as it may be, any talc on the list. I did see rice powder and kaolin, along with argan oil and acai oil.

I received the shade Malibu, which is described as “a matte milk chocolate bronzer for a healthy looking tan. It can also be used to contour to give dimension.” This shade is a bit too dark for all over color on my pale skin, but I did give it a try as contour and was surprised at how different my nose looked after I applied it along the sides. The finish is matte, no sparkles that can be seen from afar on my face!

Here are the all-in-one and the bronzer swatched on my arm. I was surprised at how dark the bronzer was, but it is the middle color of the three offered by HAN and I may order the lighter shade for myself!

Gingko & Grace is a fun box to receive, but the products are always just what I need and want, and the brands sent are often ones that I am familiar with and trust. The scarf is lovely and the chocolate was a nice treat, a bit of indulgence after a long day. I was so happy to receive a non-scented hand cream and find myself reaching for it often. My box had a value of around $125.16, and the values do not seem inflated like they are with some boxes. This is well over the price paid for the box!
