Plated is a meal subscription service – you get the ingredients, menus, and cook everything yourself. We really enjoy Plated because it makes restaurant quality meals for us super easy! You can see multiple weeks of Plated menus in advance! Plated has made a few changes, including becoming a subscription “only” service, but you can turn off automatic delivery and still order exactly what you want, so basically it’s still the same. When you sign up for Plated with this link, you’ll get 4 free plates with the purchase of 2 plates. (Which is the same as the previous free box with $20 shipping charge except you get extra food!) I picked up 3 plated meals this week to make life easier!
Chicken Schnitzel with Red Cabbage, Pears, and Gorgonzola – We were lazy and didn’t pound the chicken and sliced it instead. It was fine. I also cooked the cabbage and pears instead of a cold salad, because I’m funny about raw vegetables. It was totally delicious!
I forgot the Gorgonzola.Whoops!
Braised Cod in Tomato Fennel Broth with Potatoes and Dill – I don’t typically select fish dishes but sometimes one will strike my fancy, and I’m so glad I selected this one! I love fennel and fish stew is something I enjoy.
This was warm, comforting, and delicious. Plated’s version made a really great presentation!
Steak Frites, Creamy Shallot Sauce, and Sautéed Spinach – This was so so good and the taste and texture of the steak really speaks to the quality of all the ingredients in the box. Everything is fresh and hand selected. I love steak/burgers and fries so this was right up my alley.
If you haven’t joined up, visit Plated to find or more or to subscribe! You can see all the meal subscription services & dinner kits in the directory plus all my Plated Reviews!
