SnackFever is a monthly subscription box that delivers all your favorite Korean snacks, as well as other hard-to-find Korean treats. Each month, subscribers will get 5 to 12 Korean snacks and treats, depending on their subscription. Snack Fever is available in three boxes, the mini box, the original box, and the deluxe box, and subscriptions are $12, $20, and $40, respectively, every month.

DEAL: Save $3 off your first box (Mini, Original, Deluxe). Use coupon code HELLOSUB3.

Love is our February theme for SnackFever! Our word of the month is 첫 사랑 (cheot sah rahng), or first love. We are also taking a look at a few Lunar New Year traditions and learning the Sino-Korean number system. I’m guessing next month we’ll get to learn the native Korean number system.

So many yummy treats in this month’s SnackFever Deluxe box! For a full list of contents in each size box, click here. To see all of our SnackFever reviews (Brandy covers the Original box review), click here.

yes mom | B Chip:  The B stands for Black, but blue would be more appropriate. These chips are made with black rice, but have blueberry flavors in the recipe. Made from rice flour, these are a light snack chip with a hint of sweetness.

yes mom | G Chip:  The G stands for Green. These chips are made with a combination of organic grains and seaweed. Unlike the B Chip, these are more savory than sweet. I like the lightweight cracker texture of this chip and thought the flavor was good. That opinion was not shared by my family – we were split on our opinions.

Lotte | Moncher Cream Cake: The Moncher (from French mon cher, or my dear) cream cake is basically a Choco Pie that is filled with cream instead of marshmallow. I’m now torn… I can’t decide which snack cake reigns supreme. LOL.

Lotte | Chic Choc Chocolate Chip Cookies: Crunchy chocolate chip/chunk cookies. Thankfully, the box is filled with single serving sized packets so that I don’t over indulge.

Lotte | Milk Caramel: These caramels are a Snack Fever favorite and pop up every few months. I don’t mind because I like the soft milky chews. Keep ’em coming!

Lotte | Pepero – Choco Cookie: If you’ve never had Pepero, it’s similar to the Japanese snack Pocky. It’s a cookie stick dipped in a chocolate (or a variety of other flavors). I received the Choco Cookie variety; chocolate dip with pieces of chocolate sandwich cookie. These are so good. I totally ate the whole box without sharing.

Lotte | “Let’s Be” Mild Coffee: The can says that this drink “captures the signature essence of taste and aroma from the selected coffee beans.” It’s made with instant coffee and coffee flavor. This is a relatively small can, but it is a refreshing drink. My tip is to drink it cold.

Cantata | Caramel Macchiato Coffee: I’ve gotten regular Cantata coffee in a previous box. This one is a sweeter caramel macchiato. It wasn’t overly sweet and had a good balance of cream. I liked this more than the “Let’s Be” coffee.

Ottogi | Yeol “Fever” Ramyun: This is listed as one of the to 10 spiciest ramyuns in Korea. I love spicy ramyuns, especially when it’s cold outside because they completely warm you up. However, I lost this pack to my sister who swiped it immediately. She’s been dying to try this one out. I’m waiting for the verdict.

Nongshim Neoguri Cup Noodle – Spicy Seafood: This spicy seafood cup went to my dad who loves both the heat and seafood. He said that the spice level was up there, but not uncomfortably so. The seafood flavor wasn’t too fishy and reminded him of stews my mom used to make.

Lotte | Kkokkal Corn Chips – Teenager’s Party Time: This is a sweet and spicy flavor corn chip, similar to Bugles. I’m still trying to get over the flavor. While these were supposed to be both sweet and spicy, there wasn’t much spice. These are also another Snack Fever favorite (who can forget Brandy’s iconic Kkokkal fingers?).

Lotte | Crunky Crunch Chocolate Bar: Chocolate bar with crisped rice. These are great when you need a little bit of a chocolate pick me up. If you ever need a good laugh, look up some of the Crunky commercials online.

Lotte | Ghana Almond Chocolate Bar: This is basically the Korean equivalent of a Snickers Almond bar. There’s yummy nougat, caramel, and lots of almonds. I’ll take more of these bars over the plain Ghana bars anytime.

I was trying to show the layers in the bar. Guess I should have cut it rather than bite it.

**Deluxe BONUS** Daycell Hand Cream – Wawa (와와) the Lucky Panda: How adorable is this sad-faced panda!?! This is why I love some Asian cosmetics – they have the cutest packaging. Inside this bottle is a citrus scented hand cream. Yay! Between the colder weather and regular handwashing, I always can use this. Some Deluxe subscribers may have received either Kiki the kitty (sweet Dew scent) or Dondon the pig (rose scent).

I loved the February Snack Fever box. I liked that some past favorites were brought back with a twist and that there were some newer box items. This box was packed with plenty of items to share with your Valentine. Until next month, sending you all a lot of 사랑 (sah rahng) or love.

Have you tried Snack Fever?
