Satva Box is a monthly subscription box that sends natural beauty products at affordable prices. The word “satva” means pure in Sanskrit and the items sent will be free of parabens and other nasties. The cost is $14.99 a month with discounts on 3 or 6-month terms. When you sign up you can choose from the regular Satva Box or the Vegan Box. I am reviewing the regular, non-vegan box.

I love product info cards and this one is helpful, detailed, and gives the suggested retail value of each item.

Everything in my box! I love Satva and have discovered lots of new brands through this subscription.

Moody Sisters Body Dusting Powder ($7 according to card) This body powder features arrowroot and non-GMO cornstarch along with powdered lavender and rose. Essential oils of ylang ylang and neroli round things out and the scent is amazing.

Apply with a powder puff if you have one, or a cotton ball in a pinch. I think I have a big fluffy blush brush around here that should do the job. Good all over or on areas that may rub together during a workout.

Shea Terra Organics Shea Nilotica East African Shea Butter ($4) is the softest, smoothest shea butter I have ever tried! Most products that contain shea butter will often times have hard little balls of a waxy nature that takes some effort to rub in but not this product. This buttery soft stuff can be used on the face, under the eyes, or on the cuticles. It also has a softer scent that I prefer.

Rejuva Minerals have two items featured in this month’s box. First up is Pur’ Lips Lipstick in Berry Bliss ($12.95). I love the lightly shimmery shade of this lipstick and it lasted a pretty long time on my lips. Sunflower, coconut, and jojoba oils moisturize but be careful as natural lipsticks are notoriously delicate so just twist it up a bit or use a lip brush if it breaks in the container. This hasn’t happened yet but it feels wobbly every time I use it.

Berry Bliss is described as a “pastel shade with mauve undertones” and I thought it worked very well and I was impressed with its staying power.

Next from Rejuva is their Water Resistant Mega Lash Mascara ($16.50) which is paraben-free and moisturizes the lashes with avocado and sunflower oils. This isn’t “water-proof” and it can be removed with warm water and patience. It really did give my lashes a boost but it is a bit clumpy, which may be eased by wiping the excess with a tissue before applying.

The mascara container is heavier than usual but the brush looks pretty similar to other traditional brushes.

Satva sent a little bonus sachet of potpourri. I received a rose-scented one but some subscribers received lavender.

Satva is one of my favorite boxes and I’m always impressed with what shows up each month! There were two full-sized makeup products this month which is awesome for a natural beauty box at this price point! My box had a value of $40.45 and I really enjoyed each item!
