Bombfell is a men’s clothing and personal styling subscription service. You get sent the clothing, can try it on at home, and then figure out what you love and want to purchase. It’s an excellent service for a busy guy.
This sheet gives you details on how Bombfell works. Basically, you get ten days to try on your selection and decide whether you want to keep it. The idea is you keep only what you love, and you leave Bombfell feedback online or with their app. If you decide not to keep it, you just jot down the return ID and send the piece back with the prepaid label. Easy.
When you sign up, you tell them how many items you want to receive a month, and you tell them about how much money you want to invest in your wardrobe. They’ll send the desired number of items, with your budget helping to determine your selections.
Johnnie-O Coastal Full Zip Vest ($100): This light vest is a great layering piece for Spring and Fall, but it is only really Winter-weight if you live in California or the lower latitudes.
Dark blue piping runs around the armholes, and the back has the Johnnie-O label in the center.
The fabric is a knit, with the consequent bit of stretch and softness. My favorite feature of this item is the little cover that sits over the zipper – I rarely zip any jacket all the way up, because the zipper pulls hairs out of my neck, but this feature solves that problem.
The smooth liner adds a bit of wind resistance and lets the vest float over your other shirt.
Bombfell is really convenient, and it is great for guys that don’t care to shop at a brick and mortar. You set your own style preferences, so there is a good chance they’ll send stuff you’ll like, and you only keep what you want. It’s hassle-free and a great way to make one less trip to the store.
