Mine Chest is the one and only monthly subscription box for all the Minecraft fans out there. It is officially licensed by Mojang, and costs $29.99 per month + shipping ($7 US, $15 Canada, $20 everywhere else).

You’ll get a box full of Minecraft inspired goodies and official merchandise. Boxes come with a t-shirt (with a full range of youth and adult sizes available) and are packed in a collectible and reusable box.

I should mention that my kids are Minecraft fiends. They love crafting!

The theme for September is Animal Farming! The outside looks like a block of hayand turns inside out!

FYI – Minechest adjusted its ship date last month. However, this box shipped rather late and we received it on 9/20.

Minecraft Animal Farming Postcard: These are fun and really well done, inviting subscribers into the story. I read the entire thing to my five year old and he laughed the whole time.

Everything in the September Mine Chest box!

Mine Chest Exclusive Pin: This is a highly covetable enamel pin! A metal carrot with a spike in the back (if you really dig this box I strongly suggest going back up and reading the card – click for a bigger size!).

Mine Chest Exclusive Sticker: This piggy family is totally going on our car. It’s like those sappy family stickers, but Minecraft. It’s oinktastic.

Mine Chest Exclusive T-Shirt: My son says this has all the spawn eggs and that it’s so great and he wanted to wear it rightnow!

Minecraft Chicken Plushie: Just why every child needs – a plush representation of an 8 bit chicken! The kids are thrilled!

Minecraft Stamp & Ink Pad: It’s a block of hay that’s also a baby horse cloning device! I think the stamp blocks are getting repetitive. Minechest sent out a big survey last week and I definitely let them know my thoughts on it.

It’s well made and the kids do love using them! mine-chest-september-2016-6

And here’s the horse!

There was no DIY recipe card and I didn’t miss it – but I did wish another item had taken its place. I think there’s a lot of room for improvement in this subscription, but as I said last month, we’re not unsubscribing any time soon – my Minecrafters are nutty about this box!
