I remember the first time I tried this potion (a lab sample at the time). I was in a rush and applied only this (which rarely happens, y’all know I love layering). And I was taken aback at how glowy it made my skin! Needless to say I was hooked & had to showcase it.
This NEWLY RELEASED multi-active brightening treatment combines hydration with multiple actives that help reduce dullness, revive firmness & strengthen the skin’s barrier.
It contains Niacinamide (a form of Vitamin B3) that helps refine the appearance of the skin while reinforcing the skin barrier. There’s Bakuchiol which helps fade fine lines, smoothes the skin & helps stimulate collagen-producing receptors. A stable water-soluble Vitamin C ester brightens the skin & prevents free radical photo damage, while Ceramide NP (a major component of the skin’s outer layers) helps reinforce the skin barrier thereby improving its hydration & elasticity.
And if you are wondering, is it a serum, is it a cream, it’s actually either and both! 😍 It has lovely, light lotion-y texture and I personally adore using it over a serum & oil, as a lightweight moisturizer. If you have dry skin (or in the peak of winter), you could just as easily use it as a creamy serum under thicker moisturizers!
WYLYS LIQUID V-LIFT
Ah – it’s hard for words to convey the ‘amazing-ness’ of this unique serum but let me try. I finished my bottle in record time- I couldn’t get enough! This is truly such an addictive serum & one of my very favorite products from this wonderful new line that marries the founders’ extensive knowledge & experience with Korean Beauty & Skincare with French manufacturing & wisdom.
This light weight uber silky water-based serum features peptides in multiple forms performing different functions. It contains RH-Polypeptide-11 & Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 that help stimulate the skin’s own production of collagen. The RH-Polypeptide is a Fibroblast Growth Factor (FGF, FGF-1) which is a messenger protein that stimulates fibroblasts in the skin, ultimately increasing the production of collagen. The serum also includes vegan plant-based Elastin & Collagen. The collagen helps replenish protein with the skin that improves elasticity & firmness. And Elastin helps improve the connectivity between skin cells making the skin firmer & more bouncy.
One of the really interesting inclusions in this serum is an AFA-GS Algae Complex. This complex is a proprietary extraction of a peptide-rich, fresh water Blue Green Algae that contains over 65 perfectly balanced vitamins, minerals, & essential fatty acids that help protect & fortify the skin, & preserve hydration in its deeper layers.
The beautiful formulation is rounded off with some lovely botanical extracts like Baobab that helps strengthen the skin barrier, & Licorice Root that soothes the skin, & helps fade dark spots.
