The March 2024 theme from My French Country Home was Parisian Home Essentials: Inspired by the Extraordinary World of Marin Montagut and I received lovely French-made products that are influenced by the artist and his “whimsical and inventive” creations. This box is beautifully presented and ships directly from France. It is filled with high-quality, luxurious items made in France. See our review below!

Extraordinary Collections Book by Marin Montagut ($27.87) This book is by the featured artist for this year. The book is the coffee table type, or the display on a shelf type, and it is full of all kinds of artfully decorated collections that one might find in France. It’s colorful, unique, and interesting and while the artist is French, the book is in English, although it’s mostly photographs. Each chapter starts with a description of that section.

A Floral Glass from Marin Montagut Subscribers will receive one of three different designs and I received the one called “Pink Flower” in the MFCH online shop. This beautiful glass tumbler should make it easy for me to reach my water drinking goals, it’s just so pretty, and even the box it came in was cute. Of course, you could also use it as a mini vase but however you put it to use, please hand wash to preserve the design.

Mignardises Cutlery I wasn’t familiar with the term “mignardises” but it’s a small sweet treat served after a meal, and these are petite pieces for consuming those treats. The fork looks like a mini trident while the spoon is shaped like an egg, and if they were placed on my table I am sure I would use them incorrectly!

Marson Pechavy Candles & Holders Subscribers will receive one of three different color palettes and I received Douceur d’Automne, plus two brass candle holders. The holders can be used as shown in my picture above, or you can turn them over and place them in a traditional candle holder to fit smaller candles.

Bienamie Liquid Hand Soap Each box will come with one of three different fragrances of hand soap, and I received Jours Heureux. The soap works well and created a good lather yet rinsed cleanly away without drying my skin. It left behind a rather strong perfumed scent so this is staying in my bathroom. It’s in a glass container so it looks very sleek and stylish.

Photo print from Marin Montagut Marin Montagut is the resident artist for this year so we will receive a print from him in this box and in the next three boxes, so at the end of the the year we will have a coordinated collection. It can also be used as a card and came with a matching envelope.

Thank You Gift from La Famille de Camomille Our final item is a thank you gift and again, the set you receive may look different from mine, I believe there are couple of different sets. It’s scented wax with dried flowers and can be placed in a bathroom or linen drawer to release a subtle scent, in this case, what I would describe as “Clean Cotton”. After opening this box I left them in a closed room and each time I would enter I would be greeted by this warm scent, it was stronger than I expected.

Here’s the product info guide, which looks like a magazine!

The everyday essentials that I found in the latest box from My French Country Home were charming and useful, and as promised, whimsical. I especially liked the glass tumbler, it makes me smile when I drink juice or iced tea from this colorful piece. I thought the antique dessert pieces were interesting, their unusual shapes are something to behold but I’m sure they are useful when paired with the correct sweet treats. I also adored the wax
