Themed Sweetheart Snack Haven, the February 2024 Vegancuts Snack Box came with 10 items that included coffee, crackers, and date bites. All of the items were vegan of course and I found some that I would love to buy again and again, which is the whole reason I love subscription boxes, to try before I buy. Read on to see what I received!

DEAL: Use the coupon code hellosub to get $5 off your first box on any Vegancuts subscription!   It can only be used once per customer, but it can be used on multiple subscriptions at once so long as they are in the same transaction.

Nairn’s Oat Crackers I was excited to try these crackers that were made in Scotland, and was even more impressed when I found four individually wrapped bags inside for freshness. Sadly, I couldn’t eat any of them, each bag was full of rancid crackers (even though the expiration date isn’t until May 2024).

Nut Pods Almond + Coconut Creamer ($4.70) I tried this on a spoon before adding it to my tea and found that the blend of almond and coconut reminded me of the flavor of soy milk for some reason. It was fine for my tea, but I think it would be even better in a coffee drink that has maybe a hazelnut flavor or something nutty like that.

Golden Nest Cold Brew Mushroom Coffee I’m not a coffee drinker and wouldn’t be able to tell you if this is good or bad so instead I will tell you that it has chaga and cordyceps mushrooms for their antioxidant properties and there’s 15 calories in one can.

Jooliettes Blood Orange Dark Chocolate Date Nibbles were super tasty and reminded me of a chocolate covered orange candy. The middle is blood orange flavored dates and the outside is not-too-sweet chocolate and I am addicted.

Joolie’s Date Pops I received this soft, chewy snack in the Peanut Butter Jelly flavor. There’s dates, walnuts, peanuts, strawberries, and not much else in this deliciously sweet (with a hint of salt) bite, like a healthier version of a brownie (well, a brownie that has no chocolate).

Noka Superfood Smoothie Strawberry Pineapple ($3.73) I’m not a fan of foods from pouches, I feel like my daughter might have liked this more than I did. It may say strawberry pineapple flavor but bananas are the first ingredient and that was all I could taste. It also has brown rice protein, flax seeds, and camu camu. It’s portable and young children might like it but at almost $4 for one pouch it’s a bit of a splurge. For something with so much fruit, it doesn’t have very much in the way of vitamins or minerals.

Olyra Dark Chocolate Sandwich ($1.38) The brand’s website called this a breakfast cookie but I ate it as an afternoon snack. The cookies are made with ancient grains such as spelt and barley and there’s 4 grams of fiber per serving. The filling in the middle is dark chocolate as the name tells us and this is a tasty treat for any time of day.

Quantum Energy Square ($2.49) Oh this was absolutely delicious! It’s a caffeinated energy bar that has a chocolate/peanut butter combo that is a classic for a reason. It has peanuts, date paste, pumpkin seed and pea proteins, chocolate chips, and chia seeds. The 100 grams of caffeine comes from organic green coffee beans but it doesn’t taste like coffee at all. So good, and only a slightly sweet aftertaste from the monk fruit extract.

Love, Corn in Hot & Spicy I thought these were spicy for sure, I could only eat a couple at a time! These are classic hard, crunchy corn nuts but instead of just salt we have a spicy habanero dusting, and although citric acid wasn’t listed, it sure had that familiar tang. Yum!

Nebula Snacks Red Razz Chocolate is a bite-sized keto-friendly filled chocolate. The outside is chocolate and the inside has a real dried raspberry not-quite-cream filling. It’s sweetened with allulose and monk fruit and I was surprised to find that it didn’t have an aftertaste. I also liked that the raspberry flavor was authentic, it didn’t taste fake. This was a good candy!

Just like most subscription boxes, I found snacks I liked a lot and others I wouldn’t want to try in the future in my February Vegancuts Snack Box. Now I know which ones I should purchase more of to keep on hand for snackmergencies. I discovered that I liked most of the snacks, but most especially the three shown in the picture above, plus both treats provided by Joolies, I’m a sucker for dates. I couldn’t try the Nairn’s crackers because they were off, and I don’t drink coffee unless it’s been turned into practically a dessert by my local coffeehouse, but everything else was used up and enjoyed!

Vegancuts Snack Box is a monthly vegan food subscription that delivers 10 or more organic and vegan treats each month. Snacks can include a pantry item or drink and most snacks are gluten-free. Each subscription box costs $24.95 a month, or save a bit with a longer pre-paid term!
