December 2023 Vegancuts Snack Box was themed Frosty Flavors Snack Pack. I received 11 items and as always I was especially excited to try some that looked new-to-me! Read on to see what I received!

DEAL: Use the coupon code hellosub to get $5 off your first box on any Vegancuts subscription!   It can only be used once per customer, but it can be used on multiple subscriptions at once so long as they are in the same transaction.

Mylk Labs Banana Oatmeal Cup ($4) I think this was supposed to taste like banana bread and while I’m glad it didn’t have a fake banana flavor, I must say it didn’t taste like anything other than instant oatmeal. It was sweet and when prepared as directed it was too thick and gummy, so I added more water to thin it out. It wasn’t overly sweet thankfully.

Lenny & Larry’s The Complete Cookie Peppermint Chocolate ($1.91) This seasonal cookie flavor boasts 16 grams of protein per cookie, which comes with a 440 calorie price tag. The serving size is actually half a cookie so you can share it or save some for later or eat it all up. It’s very pepperminty and has white chocolate chips. My husband said it was a little dry but I thought it was pretty tasty and the texture was soft-baked.

OffLimits Spark Strawberry Cereal I tried this single-serve cereal as a snack and it reminds me of typical “kid cereal” with it’s bright pink color and super sweet strawberry candy flavor. There’s not much to it nutritionally speaking but if you would prefer for you or your kid to avoid dyes and fake flavors, then this would be the thing to pick. It’s gluten-free with a rice base, sugar as the second ingredient, and has pea fiber.

Green Mustache Spicyish Mustache Munchies ($1.89) I guess we have different definitions of Spicyish, because these crackers were SPICY! They’re vegan cheese crackers but made hot with cayenne and paprika and my mouth was on fire after eating them, yet I couldn’t stop because they were also quite tasty!

Verb S’mores Caffeinated Energy Bar ($1.81) I don’t understand the appeal of adding caffeine to food, I think I get enough from tea and am not looking for more. I ate this for breakfast but it’s more of an afternoon snack to get you over the slump. The bar didn’t taste like chocolate at all but did taste super sweet. It had crispy bits that I liked.

Rule Breaker Chocolate Brownie ($2.42) For a treat that has chickpeas as the first ingredient, this actually tastes rather decadent! It has chunks of chocolate chips inside, which helps the flavor, and a good amount of fiber for a small treat, 5 grams total. It’s made in a certified gluten-free facility and is free from 11 of the top food allergens.

BeanStalk Smoke Flavor Savory Stick ($2) I was never a fan of meat sticks and I’m not a fan of this soybean protein-based vegan version. It has the right texture, but the flavor is too smoky and kind of sweet, but then again, it’s not my kind of snack. If you are missing meat sticks then this should fill your void.

Eat The Change Sour Cherry Berry Cosmic Carrot Chews This bag has had a makeover so if you check them out, don’t be surprised if they look a little different. These are fruit chews that have a base of carrots and that are sweetened with apple and cherry juice. They’re really are not that sour but they taste good and fruity, not like carrots at all.

Drizzilicious Salted Caramel Rice Cakes is probably my favorite flavor of Drizzilicious, even better than the Birthday Cake flavor. The rice cakes are small and they have a candy drizzle that’s sweet and salty, perfection. A lovely little treat that doesn’t have too many calories.

Prince of Peace Ginger Mango Chews ($5.29) I like ginger chews, they always have a bit of heat to them. This version has sweet, fruity mango so I’ll probably finish the whole bag before too long! Ginger may help with stomach issues like nausea.

Snack Yums Cinnamon Churro This was my bonus snack (which may vary from box to box) and it’s one I’ve tried previously and liked. These are called Cinnamon Churro but they’re basically a crunchy snickerdoodle but maybe churro is a buzzword or something. So good!

The December Vegancuts Snack Box came with all kinds of tasty treats, and I was excited to try some that I’ve not tried before .The seasonal cookie flavor from Lenny & Larry’s was very tasty, like a minty brownie with white chocolate chips, yum. I also liked the ginger chews and keep them nearby for a sweet treat every once in a while. The Drizzilicious Salted Caramel Rice Cakes were my favorite snack this time around, but the vegan savory stick wasn’t something I would want again. I like having a variety of snacks to choose from each month, and Vegancuts helps me decide which ones deserve to be ordered in bulk!
