The November 2023 Vegancuts Beauty Box theme was Nourish and Flourish and they sent five beauty products such as an eye serum, eyeshadow palette, and treatment mask. You can expect to receive vegan and cruelty-free products (and Vegancuts offers a snack box too)! See what I received in this month’s box below!

DEAL: Use the coupon code hellosub to get $5 off your first box on any Vegancuts subscription! It can only be used once per customer, but it can be used on multiple subscriptions at once so long as they are in the same transaction.

Proceeds from this box supports animals in need.

Superzero Shampoo Bar ($11.48) Everyone should receive a bonus item, which may vary, and I received this shampoo bar. It looks like the brand is, um, rebranding so the box looks different, the newer look is on the website. This particular item is no longer on there, it looks like they’ve come up with new formulas, but I’ve been happy with it in the past. A few passes over a damp scalp and bam, you have tons of suds. I always feel like my hair gets clean from this bar, and if it doesn’t work for your scalp type then you can use it to wash makeup brushes.

Dr. Botanicals Turmeric Treatment Mask ($9.90) is more of a moisturizing treatment rather than a cleansing mask. Apply to clean skin and leave on for about 10 minutes before rinsing. I cannot read the writing on the tube and the brand doesn’t list full ingredients on their website (bad website, do better!) but turmeric, sea buckthorn berry oil, and glycerin are three ingredients that are listed. It’s supposed to fight fine lines and reduce discoloration and boost skin’s glow. It has a light, natural scent that may be lavender and a pale yellow color and it rinsed away easily in the shower.

Batanaful Raw Batana Oil ($14.70) is made of 100% batana oil sourced from Honduras. It’s supposed to be a miracle worker for damaged hair, helping to increase growth, treat damage, and give new life to dry, dull hair. It may also be used on skin to fade scars and stretch marks, improve moisture, and heal irritation. It smells at various times like coffee, peanut butter, and BBQ smoke and a little goes a long way.

Pomegranate Brightening Eye Lift Serum ($74.54) is supposed to brighten up the area under the eyes and provide hydration to that delicate spot. I don’t think the ingredients, which include glycerin, pineapple extract, pomegranate extract, and perfume, warrant that high of a price tag, and the rest of it is mainly preservatives. It doesn’t even have hyaluronic acid! It has a gel consistency and smells fruity.

Bellapierre Cosmetics Peach Blossom Eyeshadow Palette ($25) If you click the link you will see that this palette looks much softer on the brand’s website, and I think it’s actually more pumpkin spice than peach blossom. I wouldn’t normally choose oranges for my eyes but colors 2 & 3, Glisten and Hawaii, worked well to create an easygoing autumnal look for my eyes. Three of these shades are shimmery, and one is matte. They were easy to apply and blending wasn’t a problem.

Here are the color swatches from the Peach Blossom palette.

Look at how nicely these items from the November Vegancuts Beauty Box coordinate! The eyeshadow palette was perfect for this time of year, with warm shades that will carry us through the next few months. The eye serum may help with under-eye darkness, while the face mask may help keep skin moist. The batana solid oil can help not only hair but also dry elbows, cuticles, heels, anywhere you need a dose of moisture. Lastly, I was thrilled to get the solid shampoo bar as a bonus because it works well with my hair and doesn’t irritate my sensitive scalp.
