Fall has arrived in all its cozy splendor, and so has the Luxe Box Fall 2023, overflowing with beauty treasures to keep us looking fabulous as the leaves change. This season, we’re diving into a makeup and skincare must-haves from beloved brands like Floss, Laritzy, and more. Continue scrolling to see what this season’s goodies are all about!

Floss Friendly Face Cleanser ($20) A gentle facial cleanser (made in Canada!) that is safe enough for sensitive skin but tough enough to remove face makeup. The gel texture makes it great for those with oily skin types. Floss is cruelty-free!

Benefit The POREfessional Deep Retreat Clay Mask ($39) Benefit’s Pore-fessional line is a great option for those who have oily skin and need some re-balancing without leaving skin feeling stripped and “too squeaky clean.” This has a silky soft purple texture which dries down matte in 30 minutes. You should be able to see the oil being drawn out of your pores as it dries. Benefit is not cruelty-free.

Belief Aqua Bomb Brightening Vitamin C Cream ($9) Popular Korean beauty line Belif is most known for their “bomb” creams and this is their Vitamin C variation. It contains Vitamin C, E, and also lots of hyaluronic acid to keep skin feeling bright and hydrated. Belif is not cruelty-free.

Innisfree Green Tea Seed Hyaluronic Acid Serum ($5.63) Another Kbeauty brand featured is Innisfree which is a great affordable brand. Green Tea has lots of antioxidants which can offer skin some relief from the wear and tear of outdoor pollution and general aging. I really like that they’ve combined this ingredient with my fave hyaluronic acid. Innisfree is not cruelty-free.

Laritzy Cosmetics Luxe Powder ($24) Laritzy has sent us a very pretty peachy blush in the fall box. It is a bit too orange for me but I really love how soft and easy to blend their products are. Laritzy is cruelty-free!

Swatch of the blush!

Benefit Cosmetics Fluff Up Brow Wax ($26) Benefit’s brow products are another of their most popular offerings. This is a clear brow wax so it’s suitable for all brow colours. The small size makes it great to carry in your purse for touch-ups on the go.

Clarins SOS Lashes Serum Mascara ($31) Clarins has a new lash serum which promises to help keep lashes nourished while adding a subtle tint to them. Clarins is not cruelty-free.

The Fall box was a let-down for me as most of the brands featured test on animals, so I won’t use them and instead love to share with friends and families. I was happy to see a new Canadian brand, Floss, featured! I hope to see more smaller indie brands in future Luxe Boxes!

Luxe Box is a quarterly beauty box curated by the same people behind Topbox. While the regular Topbox only ships within Canada, Luxe Box has a US version as well. Both boxes are $26 with free shipping and are sent out every three months. Luxe Box offers some customization options as boxes are being prepared, usually allowing subscribers to choose a foundation shade or a preference for nail polish, for example.

That’s a good price for a beauty box. I love the aqua balm by Belief. I didn’t know they aren’t cruelty free. There are so many cruelty free choices out there, that it’s hard to understand why all products are not made that way. The demand is there, for sure.
