Cat Kit by Pusheen Box is a themed subscription box designed just for cats! For Fall 2023 they went with the theme Scaredy Cat which involved a lot of black, purple, and orange and of course ghosts and spiders! Raised Cat Bowl Some things to know about this cat bowl is that it shouldn’t be placed in the microwave or dishwasher. It’s made of ceramic and while there are bats on the outside pedestal, the inside has Pusheen holding a cute little ghost.
Crinkle Plush Toy Set is a set of three small toys for cats to bat and throw and they are decorated with ghostly cats.
Spiral Toy Set I wasn’t a fan of this toy and since I was especially afraid my granddogs might try to eat them, I threw them away. (Backstory: The last time my grandpup boxer baby came by he would go into my office and come back with a different cat toy to play with. I can imagine these getting stuck in his throat, and it makes me want to cry at the thought). It’s a thick piece of metal spring on the inside and you can feel that the ends are sharp through the soft felt fabric covering. I guess you are supposed to push them down and they might spring into the air but they didn’t do that for me. I went with “better safe than sorry”.
String Teaser Toy came with a suction cup so the toy can be attached to a smooth surface such as a window. At the end is a soft plush Pusheen and a ghost, and both are crinkly inside.
Lint Roller With two cats in the house you can be assured I have plenty of cat hair all over despite frequent vacuuming. The only way this product relates to Halloween is that it is covered with Pusheen and ghosts but of course that’s just the covering and underneath is traditional sticky lint paper.
Corduroy Plush Here is another item that I suppose could be paired with the suction cup, or maybe you can hang it by the loop on a door handle. The haunted house is covered in corduroy fabric and is crinkly, plus, there’s an opening where you can hide the attached toys. The toys at the bottom are also crinkly and in keeping with the theme we have a tombstone, skull, and spider.
Collapsible Cat Tunnel This was paws down the hero item of the box! It’s a collapsible cat tunnel (which has ties so you can fold it closed to store) that has a hole in the middle for heads to pop out of occasionally. My cats had a blast playing in here, plus it makes a crinkly sound every time the cats go inside.

My cats really enjoyed playing with their new popup tunnel and of course, they loved the box too. Cat Kit by Pusheen Box sent items that were helpful (such as a new feeding bowl) and playful and even sent a lint roller for me to use on myself! My cats liked playing with their new toys but I had some safety concerns over the plush spiral toys so they are long gone. The products were of course perfect for the spooky season and since my cats couldn’t care less whether or not the products have ghosts or bats, they can play with the toys all year long!
