Tula Skincare So Pumpkin Exfoliating Sugar Scrub ($36) If you like all things pumpkin spice, then this is the face scrub for you! Seriously, it smelled like a candle, which was odd to me – I would be ok with it smelling like spices but it has added fragrance, which I would be happier without. The texture felt nice and it started out grainy but then the grains dissolved and I rinsed it all off in the shower. It can be used a few times a week and is suitable for all skin types (but those of us with sensitive skin would be better off without the fragrance).

Formula Z Cosmetics I’m So Pretty Shadow Stick Duo ($24) This duo is too dark for where I would normally wear it, like on my lid, and I prefer a matte for my crease but whatever. One side has a bronze crayon that is easy to spread around after applying, and the other side has a liquid glittery shade that fades to not much of anything, it’s more like a glaze you might put on top of something else. I’ll try it a couple more times but I’m not sure these colors are working for me.

Here’s the shadow duo swatched, with the crayon on top and the glittery liquid on bottom.

Earth Harbor Naturals Calypso Vitamin C Moisture Elixir ($44) I like the feeling of spreading a facial oil over my skin, and this one was easy to apply and made my face glow. It took it a few minutes to soak in but my makeup glided on afterwards, and it doesn’t have much scent at all thankfully. Some of the ingredients are jojoba oil, chia oil, and coenzyme Q10. It’s supposed to hydrate and soften the skin and it has antioxidants. Glowy skin (without any shimmery ingredients like mica) is the result.

Dermelect XL Lash Volumizer ($49) This brush-on product claims it will have lashes looking longer and thicker and of course fuller. It’s supposed to accomplish this with the use of peptides, but I didn’t see a timeline of when one might expect results. I’ve applied it to my brows and I’m hoping it will have some effect. I didn’t notice any scent.

Ofra Cosmetics Bienvenido Palette ($42) This palette has two each of blush, highlighter, and bronzer so you can come up with a vibrant fresh-from-vacation look. I tried the 3-OH-5 blush and found it was fine if I applied just a little bit (I have a fair skin tone) and I thought both highlighters worked well on my face. I barely touched my brush to the Cafecito bronzer and didn’t try the darker shade at all. The powders were easy enough to blend but then again, I didn’t apply much to begin with.

Here’s the swatches for the OFRA palette! I swatched the top row first followed by the second, although maybe I should have swatched by type. Anyways, from the top: Vice, Magic City, Cafecito, 3-OH-5, Ocean Drive, Dale.

I received two makeup items, two skincare products, and a lash-building serum this month from BoxyCharm! My favorite item was the Calypso face oil – it was easy to spread and it made my face look glowy but not sparkly. I am looking forward to seeing results with the help of the lash/brow growth serum, I could stand to have fuller brows. The makeup items were fine but not really things that work great for my needs or desired look, and the face scrub reminded me that I’m not all about pumpkin spice during this time of year, although I liked its gentle scrubbiness. This box had a value of around $195!
