I got an email that they are subbing the spoiled candle for a larger/longer burning/higher value one due to the delay in getting the box out. I kind of hope it’s the same scent, though, True Vanilla sounds nice!

I just got my box! The replacement candle is a slightly larger stationery tin candle with the “Absolutely Fabulous” ostrich on it. I love the look. Unfortunately, the scent is just the gin & rosewater scent (it looks like all the stationery candles have that scent) which is unfortunate, as it’s one of the few scents from Margot Elena I dislike.

There were only 8 items in the box, too (11 if you count the three stationery cards as 3.) Two of the items were full size perfumes! (One being the spoiled “Savage Belle,” which smells amazing and I don’t have anything like. It feels like it should be a Tokyo Milk Dark entry, though.) The other perfume I’ll have to wait to try until tomorrow, but I don’t see how putting in two full size perfumes is very balanced.

Plus, the second perfume is from the Infinite She line – only without the box. And the box is a huge part for that line (“Each box celebrates stories of dauntless women who’ve left their mark on this world through boundary-breaking achievements…Includes an upbeat inspiration card for your mirror or wallet—a reminder of the infinite beauty that lies within.”) But this is just the bottle.

It’s the “Empowered” Scent, it looks like, with orange Blossom + cardamom. It says it’s for clarity/focus which is interesting, though.

Another salt scrub, not a fan.

I went ahead and canceled this box. Everything is beautiful, but I never feel like I need any of it. Looking back at my subscription, I skipped more often than I bought, and I still feel like I have so much of their stuff.

This is the one sub that I can’t bring myself to cancel! I’m glad you pointed out how to cancel a box last quarter though. No fomo for skipping that one. I am looking forward to the fall box, the perfume description sounds good!

I’ve cancelled all of my subscriptions and I have no regrets. I’m starting to seriously downsize and have less stuff. Subscriptions were just adding to unneeded stuff. I gave most of it away in donations. I still read about them, though, lol.
