Dermy Doc Box sends a box filled with dermatologist-approved products every quarter! The Spring 2023 box showed up in a bag, which was one of the items and will keep me traveling in style for the foreseeable future. Of course, I also received skincare products! Read my review below and learn more about the goodies that were sent this season!

DEAL: Get $5 off your first box! Use coupon code HELLODERMY.

Jetsetter Vegan Leather Hanging Toiletry Bag ($29.99) I believe this is the second bag I have received from Dermy Doc and it is very cool, perfect for traveling! All of the items were packed into the bag this season. It has a handle on top, side slit pocket, and velcro closure. There are four zippered sections inside, and the pouch part has an additional pocket inside. This will come in handy for trips this summer and of course all year long.

CeraVe Hydrating Cream to Foam Cleanser ($13.66) CeraVe is one of my favorite skin care brands, mainly because I have sensitive skin and it’s a brand my dermatologist recommends. I already have the creamy version of this cleanser but I wanted something that works harder at removing my face makeup and sunscreen and this worked well! It’s creamy but add a little water and it works itself up into a nice foam yet it didn’t leave my skin tight after rinsing. It’s non-scented and has ceramides and hyaluronic acid to help draw water to the skin.

BeautyStat Universal C Skin Refiner ($85) This creamy skin product is supposed to firm, brighten, and tighten the skin with 20% vitamin C for powerful anti-aging results. Vitamin C in skincare is supposed to suppress production of pigmentation to help reduce dark spots and there’s other benefits too. Some of the additional ingredients are squalane, green tea extract, dimethicone, and hyaluronic acid. The cream goes on smoothly and dries to a matte, non-greasy finish and there’s no discernible scent. Use twice a day after cleansing and follow with moisturizer (and sunscreen in the morning).

Skin Fix 2% BHA Acne Spot Treatment ($30) Acne isn’t a skin concern for me personally so this will be gifted to my daughter. It is supposed to help reduce redness and current blemishes while preventing new ones from forming. It does this with azelaic acid, salicylic acid, and niacinamide. Some of the other ingredients include kaolin clay, green tea extract, and licorice root extract. Apply where needed twice a day after cleansing. The product is a thick cream that is easy to spread and that has a natural scent.

RoC Line Soothing Night Serum Capsules ($32.99) I found this serum easy to use and so far it hasn’t bothered my skin. It’s a nighttime serum that felt good as I applied it before bed, like rubbing an oil over my face except it didn’t feel greasy afterwards. I didn’t really detect much scent, yay! It’s supposed to help firm skin while diminishing the look of fine lines and wrinkles. The capsules are supposed to provide the perfect amount while keeping the product as fresh, and therefore as potent, as possible.

Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peels ($20) This box contained 5 packs that each have a two-swipe treatment that is supposed to smooth fine lines, reduce the look of pores, and help the treated area look better overall. You swipe packet #1 over the desired area (I did my neck) until the product evaporates and the pad is dry. Wait two minutes (I brushed my teeth) and then repeat with the second pad. Don’t rinse but you can apply moisturizer afterwards. I didn’t detect any tinging or burning and the scent was fine, the first pad smelled kind of like citrus. Supposedly there should be results within a week.

I was thrilled with my new skincare products and of course with my new toiletry bag! I was especially happy to have a huge bottle of CeraVe cleanser, which is a brand I currently use as it was recommended by my personal dermatologist. I think my daughter is going to like the acne cream as I have no use for it, but the ROC capsules are all mine. As with a lot of subscription boxes, all of the items might not work for your skin type so please consider sharing with someone who might enjoy them. This season’s curation had a value of around $212!

There were some offers from the brands for future purchases. More were listed in the product info brochure.

This is the product info guide. Below is an info card with advice on how to introduce retinol into your routine.

Dermy Doc Box is a quarterly subscription box full of skincare items that are curated by board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Fatima Fahs. The boxes will contain 5+ skin and haircare items and will have a value of more than $100. The brands will be both drugstore and high end and will be a combo of samples and full-sized. It’s not customizable at this time but perhaps will be so in the future. Dermy Doc Box is $59.99 for a one-time purchase or subscribe and the price drops to $49.99! Shipping is free to the USA and it can be shipped to Canada for an additional fee.

This looks like a good box that is especially nice for women who are older. A lot of beauty boxes seem to market to teens and young adults. I appreciate this about this subscription. Not that a woman in her twenties wouldn’t enjoy this too.
