UPDATE: See New is pausing their Skincare Box until January 2023!

Here’s the full announcement:


Earlier in the year, we experienced unexpected delays in our supply chain causing subscription boxes to be several weeks late. As we worked with our partners to resolve such issues, it became evident that we would need to take an immediate pause as we would not be able to fulfill orders in a timely manner.

As we have had time to reflect, we have been able to clearly make some needed changes to The Skincare Box moving forward, allowing for a timely delivery and more enjoyable experience.


The Skincare Box will be re-launching on January 1st, 2023 as a minimalist curation of luxury skincare. In 2023, we have lined up 6 incredible partners that we know our community will absolutely love!


In the meantime, we will continue curating our storefront for all your skin health, and wellness needs. As young entrepreneurs, we are both so grateful for each and everyone of you, for your patience with our growth and that so many choose to shop for clean beauty and wellness at See New.

Bryn and I are so grateful for each and everyone of you who has subscribed and experienced The Skincare Box. As young business owners, we’ve grown and learned a ton through the opportunity to serve each and everyone of you. We are incredibly grateful.

Over the past several months as many may have experienced, we’ve seen shipping and delivery delays that have frustrated us and many of you. Due to these circumstances we will be immediately pausing The Skincare Box effective for September/October. During this time, Bryn and I will continue to work through these current circumstances to ensure we can deliver you with the best possible experience every single time

Here’s what this means to you:

  • You will not be charged for any box over the Sep/Oct time frame.
  • You still have full access to The Skincare Wellness Store at 20% off using your code “SEENEWSUB”. Boxes will be automatically pushed to Nov/Dec. We will push for things to be resolved by this timeframe and will update within September as we know more.

During this time, Bryn and I will be working through all current supply chain issues we are experiencing to resolve and ensure that your experience with us is uninterrupted moving forward.

    I loved this sub…past tense intentional.
    I’m glad I didn’t grandfather in and only purchased boxes that suited me. I believe they couldn’t be profitable with their original model, hence the repeated changes, price increases, et al. I don’t believe it had anything to do with supply issues.

    Wondering what te box will look like when relaunched and what “minimalist” “luxury” will be? If it’s anything like Beauty Heroes or Boxwalla, I’ll still be good with subscribing!

    Also, what does this relaunch mean for those (me included) who are at the $39 grandfather price?

      It sounds like it will no longer be a sub box when it relaunches, since they will only be carrying merchandise from six brands. I imagine they will just be a small niche site that carries six luxury / obscure beauty brands. Not sure what this will mean for the annual subscribers.

        I thought the six brands referred to one brand per box for 2023. Since they’re bimonthly, that means six boxes per year. I figured “minimalist” probably meant fewer products/lower value per box. 😕

    😮😮😮 It did seem like this box was in trouble recently. Not just shipping delays, but also missing boxes, ignoring customer questions, deleting social media comments, etc. Hope they can right their ship, because it was a great box before they made their much publicized move from CO to TX.
