PSA: Alltrue Appears To Have Gone Out Of Business!

All signs point to Alltrue abruptly going out of business. Redditors report that the company has gone under and employees were terminated en masse. The website still works, but when you try to “Join Now” it won’t go through the sign up process, and will just reload.

 

If you’re an Alltrue active subscriber, you may want to connect with your credit card company to file a chargeback. The online account seems to be working still, so you can check how many boxes you’ve received. If you’re concerned about Alltrue’s potential closure, we suggest doing so immediately – some credit card companies will not issue chargebacks once a company is in receivership. It appears that Alltrue has moved quickly towards winding down its operations.

 

To our knowledge, Spring 2022 boxes have not been shipped; it is unclear without any communications from the company if they will be shipped or if merchandise will never be received.

    I just recently found out about this and online since they never let us know! I tried to dispute via the bank and they refused since it was a charge back in Feb. Basically said that I should have field the claim earlier.

    I paid with my Apple Card and I had already prepaid for product I didn’t receive. Explained the situation and they refunded me the whole bit. Which was two missed boxes and add on’s totally over $200. They will put you on a hold (not a hold on your card just the credit)while they investigate which can take up to 90 days.

    I called PayPal but because my annual payment went through in September they refused to refund any of my money. Apparently you’re out of luck if it’s more than 180 days ago.

    I just got off the phone with PayPal. The rep sent it straight to claims so I wouldn’t have to wait for a response that would never come. The dispute then actually immediately closed in my favor. According to the pp rep, Alltrue is not fighting any refunds and is closing up accounts. They are giving full refunds to anyone who asks (through PayPal). If you have boxes left, I would call and talk to an actual person. I only asked for a 50% refund and got 100%. Sucks that this happened, but at least if you ordered through PP, the refund is pretty easy. Hope if goes well for people who paid with cc as well.

      I wish this worked out this way for me too through PayPal but they said that because I signed up in August it was too long ago and I am out the 107 for Spring and Summer boxes.

    Thank you so much for letting us know. I just did a charge back on my credit card for the amount of my last box. I said if the last box ships I would be more than happy to reverse the charge. Let AllTrue fight it out with them. I can’t believe they didn’t give us a heads up. Just took our money and ran? Unbelievable.

    I really enjoyed a lot of what I got from Causebox, but didn’t think the rebrand and the items they curated under the Alltrue label were very appealing. I’m so sorry for anyone who has to fight to get their money back. It sucks that they weren’t willing to confirm the news to subscribers themselves and explain what’s going on.

    That’s too bad! I feel bad for the fired employees. I was devoted to Causebox for years, but canceled before they converted to Alltrue because of the slow shipping.

        Same! I hope they will ship I have really been looking forward to those items I already paid for but I have a feeling they probably won’t ship them but I still wish they would!
