Just FYI if you are on the fence about subscribing to this box, they just announced that they will be raising their prices to $56 per box (every 2 months). If you subscribe before the end of the year, you lock in the current price of $47 per box. Since you can skip a box whenever you want, there really is no harm in subscribing now and locking in the current price.
So excited! I’ve been wanting to try this brand forever!
Has anyone had experience with this brand? I skipped the last box, and am undecided about this one. The balm and sunscreen cream seem heavy/thick. I can probably do with a thicker moisturizer these winter nights, but I don’t want clogged pores. I suppose I can use the sunscreen for my hands and body if it’s too heavy to use on my face.
They have a clay mask I tried from another sub box and it’s a very strange consistency with an “earthy” smell that made it difficult to use. I don’t know about other products, though.
I got the last See New Honua box. Many people seem to love that balm but it was unusable on my face. It has a sticky, frosting-like texture. I could not get it to absorb and it would just rub off on my pillow overnight and I’d wake up with unmoisturized skin. Used it with a mist, used a water-based serum on top to try and lock it in; nothing helped. Used it up on my hands, though that just meant I was going to bed with sticky hands. 😑 Didn’t love any of the other products either. All that said, I would not mind trying the hibiscus booster and the SPF that will be in the Essentials box since they seem more my thing.
I read mixed reviews about the brand, so I went ahead and skipped the box. I’m still using the extra Forest Rhapsody stuff I picked up. Loved that box.
