The February and March Edition of my TVK Beauty Box arrived in a sturdy little box styled out in pretty pastel colours. A little bit of crinkle cut shredded paper keeps the contents safe.

A little note about the packing of the box adds a personal touch.

The box features 5 products with a value of over £80.

Details of each product are given in the What’s Inside Your Box sheet.

The info sheet includes beauty tips from lifestyle blogger Jess Turnbull.  She gives tips for a natural Sunday morning glow-up, extolling the virtues of coconut oil pulling, castor oil  for eyelashes and brows, apple cider vinegar as a hair cleanser, and epsom salt for a relaxing bath.

As usual, £100 from this edition of the Beauty Box goes toward Animal Free Research UK, the UK’s leading non-animal medical research charity which funds and promotes the development of techniques and procedures to replace the use of animals in biomedical research.

First up is Dr Ever Youth Vitamin C Night Moisturiser (Limited Edition) 50ml (RRP £59.99) contains L-absorbic acid, hyaluronic acid, argan oil and rose oil to help brighten and plump skin overnight.  This stings a tiny bit when I apply it to my face, but in general has not caused  irritation and has left my skin nicely moisturised.  I can’t say that the results warrant the high prices though, as it hasn’t yielded particularly noteworthy results.  But, the beauty of the Vegan Kind beauty boxes that you get to try these pricier items before you buy!

NAILKIND Vegan Nail Treatment Oil (RRP £10.50) is part of a range of 85% bio-sourced, cruelty free, plant based nail products.  This oil is a simple and effective way to nourish your nails – a nice product for pampering yourself.

Beauty Kitchen Vegan Fragrance Free Wonder Balm (RRP £3.99) is a little tin of multi-purpose, moisturising balm.  I love this as a lip balm and adore the cute and functional tin with sliding lid – much more convenient than the traditional pot and separate lid.  It’s a great price too!

The Cheeky Panda Coconut Scented Bamboo Facial Cleansing Wipes (RRP £1.99) are 100% biodegradable make-up remover wipes made with 99% pure water and infused with coconut oil. These are handy and refreshing wipes, gentle on skin and they do a decent job of removing make-up, although they very slightly irritated my eyes from the rubbing required to remove mascara.  What I really enjoyed, and what sets them apart from other wipes, is the awesome coconut scent!

Sunkissed Cosmetics Mega Long False Lash Effect Mascara (RRP £4.99) uses a vegan formula to help darken and define lashes.  I really like how, compared to most other mascaras I have tried recently, the wand has a relatively compact bristle-brush allowing for precise application to lengthen lashes without any mess.

I always love trying out the products in the Vegan Kind Beauty Box.  Ironically, my favourite products this time were the least expensive!  I love the Beauty Kitchen Wonder Balm and will also make good use of the Sunkissed Mascara and NAILKIND Nail Treatment Oil.
