Scentbird is a monthly perfume and fragrance decanting subscription, but that’s not all! You can also choose to receive makeup, skincare, body care, supplements, and even candles! With Scentbird, you get a thirty-day supply of perfume every month – Scentbird takes authentic perfumes and decants them into travel sprayers. There are over 450 fragrances to choose from and Scentbird adds new ones every month! You can save when you purchase a multi-month subscription, or even arrange to receive perfume every other month. Keep in mind that some fragrances and other items may have an upcharge of up to $15 in addition to the subscription cost.

Scentbird is about the fun and magic of fragrance. We designed Scentbird for the pickiest girl- or boy- to let you date luxury perfumes before marrying them.

When you sign up, you can fill out a quiz so Scentbird can provide you with some suggestions. There are only 5 questions and you can take the quiz as often as you like. You can place both men’s and women’s scents in your queue too and of course there are lots of unisex scents available. You can also fill the queue with whichever fragrances you prefer and keep in mind that if your queue is empty, you will receive the Fragrance of the Month. The Perfume of the Month for November is Bella Essence by Oscar de la Renta.

Sparkling fresh grapefruit and red currant are wrapped in luminous florals of rose and jasmine, while finishing with enchanting vanilla and patchouli, Bella Essence evokes the timeless feeling of falling in love.

Everything in my box! My scent was placed in a cardboard tube to keep it safe during shipping.

I received a card with my chosen fragrance listed as well as the scent notes.

The back of the card listed the description, ingredients, and country of origin.

I also received a paper strip sample of next month’s scent. I think this is a great idea and I hope it continues!

Rag & Bone Oddity Eau De Parfum ($150 for 50ml) It’s fall so I made sure to add warm, rich scents to my queue and I prefer the niche brands. Scentbird has a good selection of those lesser known makers.

Oddity is a unisex woody spicy scent that has notes of vanilla, vetiver, licorice, and leather. It kind of smells like my fireplace after everything has died down, smoky and warm, a hint of char. I think the spicy note is wonderful too, and this is lacking that sweet note, like caramel/toasted marshmallow/burnt sugar, which keeps it from being overly feminine. I don’t want to smell like a s’more. I will be wearing this often throughout the fall!

When you are placing fragrances in your queue, you can see how they have been rated by other users. I clicked on the box that said “scent type” and you can see that most people thought it was woody and spicy. It was rated as being mysterious, perfect for date night, warm, and intense. Most thought it was a good scent for fall.

Your first order comes with a case and you just pop in your vial and twist it until the nozzle is hidden.

Twist it back up to expose the sprayer! Speaking of sprays, Scentbird comes with 8ml/0.27 fl. oz, enough for a couple of sprays every day for an entire month.

I was really pleased with my October Scentbird fragrance! It was a blind pick, I had never smelled it before, but I was happy with both the scent and longevity/projection. I could smell it on my arm for most of the day, but it wasn’t super strong or heavy. I thought it was perfect for what passes for fall here in Central Texas. I am looking forward to getting more seasonal scents over the next few months. I appreciate that Scentbird sends an amount that lasts for at least a month so I can decide if I want to purchase a full-sized bottle. I also think it’s cool that you can choose something other than fragrance if you want, like skincare or candles.
