In a stunning twist, Ipsy has announced that they’ve purchased BOXYCHARM! We’ve read the news articles and distilled all the pertinent info (Sources: Bloomberg, Yahoo! Finance.)

Ipsy and BoxyCharm will operate as separate brands in a merged company called BFA Industries (aka Beauty For All). Yosef Martin, Boxy’s founder, will join the board of Beauty For All and continue to lead BOXYCHARM. IPSY is the world’s largest beauty sampling service and BoxyCharm is largest provider of full-size beauty product subscriptions. Together the companies have 30 million customers.

“Both brands share a commitment to celebrating diversity and enabling inclusion through beauty, which our world needs more than ever today. Joe has built an amazing business and an avid community of beauty enthusiasts. BoxyCharm has always pushed us to be better and now that we’re under one roof, we’re looking forward to growing and innovating together.” – Marcelo Camberos, co-founder and CEO of IPSY, now CEO of BFAI.

IPSY and BoxyCharm will continue to operate as independent brands.

BFAI has also announced a new personal care subscription – Refreshments!

Refreshments will provide extra fun, extra clean essentials that jazz up every day routines. The initial offering will include face wipes, hand cream, body cream and body wash, with a broadened assortment launching in 2021 and beyond.

Refreshments will launch November 10! Grab our email notification for more details for this subscription!
