IPSY was founded on a singular mission: to inspire individuals around the world to express their unique beauty. Everything we do is to support you on your journey to self-discovery, so you’ll feel confident letting your unique beauty shine every day.

Most of my items were inside the cute makeup bag but make sure to double check the mailing bag, sometimes larger items (like makeup brushes) can be found there. One item was bubble wrapped, and another came in its own box.

The theme for September is Good Vibes!

Inside Ipsy listed my 5 products and gave a brief description, plus it had the MSRP for the full sized product.

Don’t forget that you can rate your items and you earn bonus points when you do that, so you can get additional products in your bag. All subscribers now have the chance to pick a product for their next bag – just log in on choice day and pick one!

Everything in my box! You can find instructions for use and ingredients on the Ipsy app and website.

Ipsy Glambag The bag this month is chenille corduroy in shades that are perfect for fall. One side is mustard yellow.

The other side is maroon.

The zipper pull is maroon pleather and says IPSY.

The inside is lined with maroon polyester fabric. The bag is 7″ x 5″.

Veriphy Skincare 20/20 Phytoglycogen + Peptides Eye Cream ($20.38) I enjoy trying eye creams, that area needs extra help now that I am, um, more mature. It is supposed to firm and smooth the area with niacinamide, cucumber, peptides, and something called PhytoSpherix (plant derived glycogen). There is no scent to this cream and my undereye area absorbed it quickly, and it didn’t feel greasy afterwards.

Hempz Herbal Lip Balm ($4.86) A lip balm is essential as we move towards cooler weather. I like the flavor of this balm that starts with petroleum jelly and has hemp seed oil. The flavor is fruity and the product is a little hard to push through the opening but it gets there eventually. Left my lips feeling slick and tasty.

Tarte Cosmetics Big Ego Mascara in Black ($6.57 value) I was running low on mascara so this came at the perfect time! I try to make my eyes stand out nowadays since no one will see the lower half of my face when I’m wearing a mask anyways.

I have short lashes so this type of brush is hard for me to use, because I can’t get too close to the roots without brushing my eyeball. The brush was wobbly in the lid, I am not sure if it was supposed to be fixed into place or loose, but it didn’t feel very sturdy. It was a pretty basic mascara which is fine for my needs.

IT Cosmetics CC + Cream with SPF 50+ in Light ($5.16) was my Sample Choice item! I switched to powder foundation near the beginning of this year but sometimes I want a bit more coverage so a sample size product is perfect for my needs. Plus, it’s from it Cosmetics! I love this brand!

I received the color “Light” and this 3-in-1 product is supposed to provide coverage, anti-aging benefits, and sunscreen. I used an SPF moisturizer because that’s what I do but then used this over top. It went on smoothly and I used enough to cover the red areas and liked the finish. It stayed in place all day and looked great. I was worried it would be too dark based on the swatch below but it didn’t look that dark on my face.

Maëlle Beauty Enchanted Eyeshadow Collection Single in Pink Diamond (Part of a palette, $29 for 6 shades) The size of this eyeshadow single is generous, and larger than what you would find in the palette that this comes in.

The color is called Pink Diamond and it’s a shimmery shade.

Isn’t the container cute? It looks so stylish.

I applied with a brush on one lid, my finger on the other, and the result was the same with each one. I thought the color was very subdued, but it did provide some shimmer. I finished my look with a darker matte shade in the crease and it lasted all day long.

Swatched on top is the shadow, and the CC cream is below.

The Ipsy Glam Bag for September is so cute and seasonally appropriate, I love that is has a different color on each side. I liked the products that were inside the bag too! I am really focusing on my eyes lately so having three eye products was not a bad thing. The CC cream was something I really wanted to try and I am glad I did, it worked well for me. The lip balm rounded out the bag nicely, because I can always wear balm under a mask but it also works for me as a before bed lip balm. The value for my bag contents was around $36.97, not including the eyeshadow single.
