Our boxes are carefully curated each month with a focus on supporting individuals throughout their Mental Health exploration and healing process. The box is not intended to provide any medical advice or diagnosis. It is to be used as a resource to educate individuals on Mental Health topics and support those along their journey of wellness and self care.

This is my very first Mental Wealth Box!

Looking good so far!

I received a card…

…that listed all of the items in this shipment.

Everything in my box! This box was packed full and it was heavy!

First up is a Strength-Based Workbook produced by The Mental Wealth Box.

It’s about discovering your personal strengths. You start by reminding yourself what you are good at.

Next you do a little journaling to see how those strengths can help you in 3 key areas. The rest of the booklet helps you dive a little deeper. The booklet has 11 pages total.

Are You OK? by Kati Morton ($20 list price, now $15.29) This book has 4.5 stars on Amazon and is a good book to help demystify mental health by describing what various medical professionals do, what treatments are available, and warning signs that mean one might need to seek professional help.

A licensed family therapist and You Tube personality, Kati Morton answers the most commonly asked questions about mental health, including when to get help and where to find it.

Everyone struggles with mental health issues from time to time, but the greatest level of misunderstanding comes from knowing the difference between mental health and mental illness, figuring out whether we need professional help and, if so, how to find it. Are u ok? walks readers through the most commonly asked questions about mental health and the process of getting help. From finding the best therapist to navigating harmful and toxic relationships and everything in between, licensed family therapist and YouTube sensation Kati Morton clarifies and de-stigmatizes the struggles so many of us go through, and encourages readers to reach out for help. What are the red flags of a mental health issue? How do you go about making a first therapy appointment? How do you know if your therapist is a good fit for you? What are the best ways of talking about mental health with your family, friends and colleagues? There are so many questions and concerns, and in the down-to-earth, friendly tone that makes Kati Morton so popular on YouTube, Are u ok? informs and reminds us that we can get through the difficult times and we are never alone.

The author is a therapist and has a YouTube channel. I even bookmarked her page because I plan on watching some of her videos soon.

This is more of guide on what you can expect when seeking professional help rather than a self-help book.

WorkoutLabs Yoga Cards ($44.95 list price, now $34.95) So far during quarantine I have walked, used the elliptical, and watched exercise DVD’s. Now I’m about to add yoga to the list!

This box includes both a beginner and intermediate set so there is room to advance.

The cards include the Sanskrit names and pronunciations. The cards are waterproof, which means they also slide around a lot!

Here is an example of one of the poses.

There are several cards that list a yoga sequence, so gather those cards and get ready to stretch!

It even tells you what you can gain from the sequence.

It’s even color coded! I am a newbie to yoga so I know this set will be very helpful.

Mantra Dog Mantra Strap ($10) At this point in my life I am not all that flexible, and some of those yoga poses may be difficult for me. Luckily, there is a way to get there in the end.

The MantraStrap is supposed to help with those more difficult poses.

It’s a 78.75″ long strap with D rings so it’s adjustable. I’ve never used a strap like this so again, I turned to YouTube. I am very excited about this and think it will help with stretching in general, not just yoga. It’s the thing I didn’t know that I needed but I am so glad to have!

Green & Gorgeous Organics Peppermint Organic Hand Sanitizer ($5.99) One of my most very favorite scents in the whole entire world is peppermint. It is such a fresh and uplifting scent and I will take it in whatever form it comes in. In this case, it’s hand sanitizer!

The alcohol base here comes from sugarcane (just like rum!) and is considered more environmentally friendly than corn-based alcohol. It also has water, glycerin, and peppermint oil. I sprayed some on my hands and took a whiff and whoof, it is strong, but the fumes fade quickly. I actually had a body spray decades ago that was virtually the same as this hanitizer.

OHmazing Original Recipe Granola Snack ($2.99) I have been eating granola forever, my mom even made it herself when I was growing up!

Rolled oats, butter, organic cane sugar, organic pumpkin seeds, organic agave, organic flax seeds, vanilla, and cinnamon are the all-natural ingredients here.

Oh my goodness, this is seriously some of the best granola I’ve ever tried! I think it’s the butter that takes it over the top – it’s kind of like crumbled up chunky oatmeal cookies! I popped the pieces into my mouth and it made for a super satisfying snack that made me feel like a kid!

I was impressed with The Mental Wellness Box, what a satisfying assortment of products I received! I look forward to working through the workbook, while the book is more of a guide to mental health and not really a self-help type. Maybe I will finally learn what a downward dog is. The strap is a revelation, I need it to work on my flexibility. The granola was top-notch, and I seriously should stop spraying the hand sanitizer as perfume. The items were worth about $20 more than the box cost (and that was using the sale prices!), and I am extremely pleased with each of the items, this was an exceptional curation.
