Packed to the top!

I found a card that has a blank spot so I can write in my answer to this month’s power statement. What makes me happy? My family, a day at the beach, chocolate, and tea! You can find some of the items sampled each month on the Love With Food website.

For every box sent to subscribers, Love With Food donates 2 meals to families in need. Don’t forget to review your snacks so you can earn points for even more snacks!

Everything in my box! I see some new snacks and older favorites!

Belgian Boys Mini Cookie Stash Cookie Butter Cookies Have you ever been on a plane and they give you yummy little crisp cookies, similar to Biscoffs? These are very similar, except they are shaped like a mustache so you can play with your food before eating it.

Daelmans Stroopwafel in Caramel is a crisp waffle cookie with caramel in the middle. You can set it on a hot cup of tea or coffee and the steam from the drink will warm the cookie for optimum flavor!

180° Snacks Almond Rice Pops With Blueberries frequently show up in this box and it’s like a crispy rice treat with blueberries and nuts. The fruit tends to be chewy, the blueberry flavor is strong, and the nuts are really good.

Appleways Cheddar Cheese look and taste like a cross between a Cheez-It and a saltine and were pretty tasty, if a little bland. They have apple fiber in them, which is where I’m sure they got their name!

Cooper Street Chocolate Cherry Granola Cookie Bakes are very flavorful and have a nice texture, mostly like a soft-baked bar but with crunchy bits. Buckwheat, flax, and quinoa join oats as the base in this sweet bar that has white chocolate chips sprinkled throughout.

Sheffa Coconut Dark Chocolate Granola Bar is super sweet and mine came broken to bits. I think it would be good sprinkled over vanilla yogurt. The coconut flavor is tasty.

Zee Zee’s Birthday Cake Soft Baked Bar My oldest loves this flavor, and it’s fun for sure. Oats are the first ingredient and they have crispy rice pieces here and there. The flavor is vanilla cake-like and sweet, and there is a drizzle of icing on the top.

Bakery On Main Cranberry Apple Maple Granola I know this says it’s a granola but to me granola should start with rolled oats, and this one starts with “multigrain & bean crisps”, sort of like fancy corn flakes. The dried fruit was inedible because it was rock hard, and there was one whole almond in my bowl. I thought the flavor was really good, sweet and satisfying.

Bobo’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Oat Bites reminds me of eating oatmeal cookie dough, although it is drier. I like the chocolate chips and the flavor was mild, I forgot it was peanut butter.

Skout Organic Chocolate Cherry I needed a quick breakfast before an appointment and this was perfect for my needs. It has dates, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and chocolate. It’s a good source of fiber, iron, protein, and potassium. It was tasty too!

The Skout bar was dense and chewy, but in a date sort of way, as opposed to pea protein bars.

Stryve Beef Biltong Air-Dried Beef Slices I am not much of a dried meat person but gave these a try. They were softer than jerky, easier to chew, but I thought they were very salty and the beef flavor was overwhelming and I ended up spitting it out. My husband liked it though. It’s air-dried pieces of beef and I thought I could still taste blood but maybe that’s just me.

Legendary Foods Tangy Ranch Seasoned Almonds Every once in a while I get a snack that tastes off and sadly that was the case with these almonds. The expiration date isn’t for months but still they are on the rancid side.

Mr. Nature Unsalted Trail Mix is one of my most favorite types of snacks, just nuts, fruits, and seeds. The nuts are peanuts, almonds, and walnuts while the fruit is raisins. I didn’t actually get any almonds and there were two walnut pieces. Sunflower seeds round it out but it’s 90% GORP and classically delicious.

Old Wisconsin Natural Cut Turkey Snack Stick We are kind of over meat sticks and jerky at my house but you can expect to get at least one in every box. The ingredients are pretty natural and don’t include the nitrates of the past.

I passed this one to my husband, he snacks on them at work.

SunRype Fruit To Go Apple Strawberry Watermelon Fruit Strip My daughter loves all things gummy and this fruit strip was more like fruit leather and had a fruity berry melon flavor. Citric acid gave it tartness like a sour fruit snack.

There were a few new snacks mixed in with the classics in the June Deluxe Love With Food! The weather is warm in most parts of the country so it might be awhile before we see chocolate or melty items in the box again. I’m always happy to see nut mixes and snack bars, plus sweet treats like cookies are a big hit in my house. I don’t care much for jerky types of items but my husband will eat them most of the time. There were 15 items this month so the per item cost is about $1.33 each.
