My items were cushioned with egg crate foam. The bag was on top and folded flat.

Everything arrived in perfect condition! Some items were protected with bubble wrap.

I received a brochure from Ipsy. The theme for April is Full Bloom!

Each of my products were listed along with the retail value. It also stated whether the product is full-sized or deluxe sample sized.

It gave a tip and a blurb from Ipsy HQ.

The back of the card listed the next Choice Day (4/25). That is the day when every subscriber can choose a product for their next bag! It also had a web address for the Ipsy blog.

Most of the items came in their own boxes too!

Here’s everything in our box this month!

Ipsy Glam Bag Ultimate Ipsy coordinates the bags for all three tiers so they have a similar style without being exactly the same. The sizes increase with the more expensive tiers too. This bag is about 8″ x 5″ x 4″ and is made of linen-textured plastic on the outside and has two wooden zipper pulls that say “Ipsy”. There is a handle on top that also says Ipsy but it is more of an indentation in the material, the branding is subtle. The color of the bag is a very pale peachy pink with flowers all over.

The inside is lined with polyester and there are no pockets this month.

Yensa CBD SuperFood Dual Cleansing Oil (Full size, $38) I love cleansing oils, and I especially like the versions that don’t leave a greasy residue. This one didn’t disappoint! I used this as a makeup remover and followed with a cleanser afterwards, commonly called a double cleanse.

It has a blend of 8 “super oils” and a few other cleansing ingredients. CBD oil is supposed to help calm skin and reduce redness and I am interested in seeing if it truly helps in that area. The product comes out looking and feeling like an oil and I gently rubbed it over my face. You can use it to remove eye makeup too but I didn’t try it in that area. Add some warm water to fingertips and go over the face and the oil turns into a gentle, milky cleanser. It rinsed fully away and left my skin feeling clean!

Lavido 2-in-1 Facial Mask & Exfoliator (Full size, $36) can be used as a mask or as an exfoliator, it just depends on how long you want to leave it on your skin.

It is free of synthetic fragrance and mineral oil, and the exfoliation is provided by crushed oyster shells! Pomegranate is supposed to soothe the skin while macadamia oil moisturizes. It has cumin seed oil so it has a strong herbal scent, and lemon peel oil. I used it as an exfoliator and before I rinsed it off it I did experience some irritation and burning near my cheeks so if you have sensitive skin this might be too harsh.

Verso Skincare Dark Spot Fix (Full size, $150) is a product that is supposed to help lighten dark spots on the skin.

It took a lot of pumps before the product came out of the nozzle, and I will say that the container is lightweight. The formula is a yellow cream and has niacinamide and turmeric, plus Retinol 8, which is supposed to be more effective yet gentler to skin than other vitamin A products. The product felt creamy and left my skin shiny after using. It has a light citrus floral scent.

Dr. Ohkims+ Cica Peptide Cream (Deluxe sample, $8.34) is a rich, creamy moisturizer that has shea butter, niacinamide (which may improve skin tone), and cica (which may reduce inflammation). It is the last step of a skincare routine to lock everything in and keep skin moist. It has a pleasant herbaceous scent and left my skin soft, with a slick feeling since it doesn’t absorb all the way in.

Kensie Life Beat (Deluxe sample, $28) I know this is deluxe-sample sized, but it is huge. This is comparable to 2.5 months worth of a subscription service perfume, like Scentbird. Fragrantica calls this a floral fruity gourmand and it is sweet and sugary. Scent notes include fruits like citrus and berries, white florals, and vanilla sugar. I like the scent, it’s a good one for spring and summer, but it fades very quickly. On the plus side, you can spritz it liberally during the summer and it won’t be overly strong!

Verb Ghost Hair Mask (Deluxe sample, $1.94) I deep condition once a week and was excited to try a new mask for my hair! This one felt light-weight going on and took a while to rinse from my hair, but I had no problems combing my hair after my shower. My fine hair was bouncy and soft after styling and I enjoyed the light floral fragrance.

Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream (Deluxe Sample, £11, about $13.70 USD) I will take all the eye creams, thank you very much! This one is more of a gel serum than a creamy cream, even though it looked creamy white. It has a light herbal scent and I managed to pat it in quickly and it wasn’t greasy. It has hyaluronic acid to keep the area moist, witch hazel to tighten the area, and cloudberry to plump and protect.

Space Case Cosmetics Fakecation On Mars Bronzer (Full size, $9 listed value) I couldn’t find this product on the Space Case website but it is a bronzing powder.

It’s supposed to have a touch of shimmer but I didn’t notice any on my skin. I did the classic “3” application tip, running my brush across my temple, cheek, and chin, then blended it out so I wouldn’t look dirty. Swatched below.

Realher Ultimate Glow Getter Cheek Trio (Full size, $28) I received a cheek palette with a trio of blush, highlighter, and contour!

They even had the order of use printed on the bottom of the box!

The shade names were printed under each color. I chose to do a warm eye to go with the warm colors of this palette. I really liked the shades on my skin! They were not overly saturated yet they were buildable. Swatched below.

Swatched from top: Space Case Bronzer; then Blessed blush, Goddess highlighter, and Incredible bronzer from the Realher palette. The bronzers look almost identical.

Jules Smith Beauty Power 5 Shadow Palette (Full size, $28 listed value) I cannot seem to find much info on this brand and their website doesn’t sell any products so the value comes from the Ipsy website. The palette cover is pretty but this is super lightweight and doesn’t feel very ritzy, but then again, I guess it makes it easier to carry in a bag!

The shades are inspired by crystals such as amethyst and rose quartz.

All five of these shades are shimmery, and I tried to do a look with them but it is just too much glitter! I will need to pair these with my matte shades to make them wearable for me. I also want to suggest that you apply these with a finger instead of a makeup brush to help it show up better. I got better color payoff when I applied them with my finger.

Here are the shades swatched. I am not 100% sure which color is which but I have the top row (3) in order followed by the bottom row (2). My own names for these colors are Peach, Purple, Pink, Gold, and Bronze.

Ciaté London Triple Shot XXL Mascara in Black XXL (Full size, $22) I change out my mascaras pretty frequently and Ipsy makes that easy by sending them often.

The brush is tapered on one end to make it easier to get to those tiny lashes. The formula was fine, but I thought it had a strong perfumed smell, like department store mascaras, although it is listed as fragrance-free. It’s infused with diamond powder and is supposed to help lengthen lashes.

Trèstique Mini Lip Glaze Set ($12 each shade, $48 total) was my sample choice for April! I liked that this set came with a variety of lip glaze colors. The full-size of each of these colors comes with a primer, but the mini’s don’t.

The set is an Ipsy-exclusive collaboration and each lip glaze is a combo of balm, stain, and gloss.

Trestique has unique caps that kind of look like the product is uncapped. From left: Shell Beach Sheer, Paris Pink, Georgia Peach, and English Rose. They are shown in order of intensity, with Shell Beach Sheer being just that, while English Rose is the deepest.

Here they are swatched, from top: Shell Beach Sheer, Paris Pink, Georgia Peach, and English Rose. These are very lightweight and nonsticky. They don’t last very long but they can be combined with liner to create a deeper color.

Ipsy Ultimate is full of so many products and I love that they sent items for all kinds of beauty needs. I received hair care, perfume, makeup, and skin care. My favorite item this month is the cleansing oil, I’ve been using it nightly and it’s worked very well. I think the makeup colors are pretty and I enjoy the sweet scent of my new perfume. My hair is soft thanks to the conditioner and I will continue to use the eye cream. The value for my April products, not including the bag itself, is around $400.98!
