All the goods arrived in a red box!

The kit shows up bundled neatly together under some cute red polka dots tissue.

It was also secured with a Gramma in a Box sticker. All the items come in separate plastic containers.

The card has a message from Gramma Terry! This month’s box is all about Spring Chicks and Bunnies.

At the back is a list of all the items from the box and the items you need from home.

Every month, 3 projects are included in the box. This month, we have Candy Corn Flowers, Crunchy Bird’s Nests, and Spring Cookie Decorating. Each of the cards has step by step instructions with a few images.

Featured on the other side of the card is the list of all the ingredients for each recipe.

Everything in our April 2020 box!

First Project: Candy Corn Flowers. For the first project, we used a pack of pretzel rings, pastel-colored M&M’s, candy corn, and melting chocolates.

We started the project by melting the chocolates in the microwave oven for over a minute, and then transferred it to a bowl.

Using a spoon, my kids carefully put a small dollop of melted chocolate in the center of each pretzel ring.

Once done, they placed 5 pieces of candy corns around the pretzel with the pointed side sticking into the middle of the chocolate. For the last step, they placed an M&M candy in the middle. Afterward, we waited for the chocolates to solidify before eating!

Second Project: Crunchy Bird’s Nests. For the second project, we used corn flakes, jelly beans, and melting chocolates.

First, my daughter poured the corn flakes in the bowl of remaining melted chocolate from the first project.

Then, she mixed them together until all the corn flakes were covered with chocolate.

Once done, my kids divided the mixture equally and grouped them to form “bird nests”.

For the finishing touch, my kids put some jellybeans on top of each. Just like the first project, we waited for it to solidify before munching on them!

Third Project: Spring Cookie Decorating. For the final project, we used sugar cookies, frostings, sanding sugar, and candy quines.

My kids were very fond of the cookies, as they came in different shapes and sizes.

After laying them out, my kids started decorating them using the colored frostings.

My younger son used the blue frostings and then started the design by filling in the edges of the cookies.

My older son combined the yellow and blue frostings on his cookie.

After putting frostings, my daughter then showered her cookie with delicious sanding sugars!

Even my youngest joined in on the fun! She added some candy sprinkles to add more color to the cookies!

We love how beautiful and colorful the cookies turned out!

All three edible craft projects look truly appetizing!

There’s no better way to welcome spring than to make these spring-themed edible crafts from Gramma In A Box. All the projects were a hit with my kids! They had fun making each one, as much as they enjoyed munching on the snacks afterward. As always, their favorite is the cookie decorating project because they get to unleash their creativity in designing the cookies. This is really an ideal subscription for kids and families who are looking for a fun crafting activity. The box provides most of the materials and instructions, so all you have to do is decide when to get started!
