OatBox is a Canadian granola subscription box, that ships for free to both Canada and the US. For $20/month, you’ll receive two bags (380g) of hand-blended granola every month! Made in Montreal by chefs, they send two different mixes each month. Their plans are customisable as well — if you have allergies, you can elect to replace a mix with another, have two of the same mix, and so on. You can easily skip or cancel right from your account — no need to wait on customer service to get back to you. If you are a big fan of granola, you can even have it delivered every other week! You can also add different products to your monthly subscription or as a one off : breakfast bar, single serving oatmeal, coffee, overnight oats, jams, and now tea!

Your first box contains the reusable mason jar as a gift. This review includes both March’s granola blends as well as some personalized adds-on.

Érable et noix (Maple & Nut). This granola has a classic taste of pecans and maple. It has whole grain rolled oats, wheat flakes, cane sugar, walnuts, pecans, expeller pressed canola oil and maple syrup.

I love that there’s a good amount of nuts in it, so you don’t have to look for them! They are delicious with a bit of sweetness. This would be amazing on top of an apple cobbler, or added to the top of maple fudge for added texture!

Orange et Canneberge (Orange and Cranberry). One of my favorite dried fruit is cranberry. I drink unsweetened cranberry juice because I love the tart taste (and it’s good for you!), so I was quite excited to get a cranberry flavored granola. It also has orange zest for some sweet zing.

Look at these delicious plump cranberries! This granola also contains whole grain rolled oats, wheat flakes, cane sugar, expeller pressed canola oil and dried orange peel. It’s perfect on top of my yogurt, and I like adding a bit of these mix to simple plain oatmeal.

Oatbox always includes a card with a recipe inspired by their mix.

This month, we have a Croustade à l’orange et aux canneberges (Orange and cranberry cobbler) and a Chai Latté Maison (Homemade Chai Latte).

This month, we have decided to try two of their five tea blends.

Douce Berceuse (Sweet Lullaby) is a blend of chamomile, elderflowers, rose petals, lemon verbana, lavender and poppy.

The box contains 20 pyramid tea bags in a paper bag. It smells lovely, flowery and calming, perfect for your evening bed ritual.

The second blend we chose is the Vent de Fraîcheur (Fresh Start) which is an Earl Grey tea with mint. It’s a nice balance between the bergamoth and the fresh mint.

Unlike for the Chamomile tea, this box only contains 15 tea bags.

We also added some Coffee to our subscription to round out our breakfast! We chose the Peruvian medium dark coffee.

You can choose coffee beans, espresso grind and drip grind for either coffees.

I LOVE Oatbox. Their flavors are always fun and tasty. I don’t bake with the granola, yet, but I add it to my dessert (fresh fruits topped with plain yogurt, topped with granola is my go-to dessert), or as a late afternoon snack with plain unsweetened soy milk. My husband adds it to his ice cream! And I can’t say I haven’t eaten a handful straight out of the back while waiting for my coffee!
