  • Hoodie only

The regular subscription comes in a poly mailer (the bag seen in the first picture above). The art is contained in a paperboard folder with an additional backer, so it remains in pristine condition.

For this month, the box features the works of SHAKESPEARE!

Everything in my HalfBloodPrints box!

Hamlet T-Shirt. This is a good statement shirt, as the quote is really meaningful. It’s from Hamlet, a Tragedy written by Shakespeare.

To thine own self be true.

The shirt reminds us to be true to ourselves. I also like its light marble gray color.

The rest of the items are placed inside a shiny mailer.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream Button Pin. A Midsummer Night’s Dream is the popular comedy that portrays the events surrounding the marriage of the Duke of Athens, Theseus, to the former queen of the Amazons, Hippolyta. The pin is simply designed, an overall black background and the quote printed in white. It also has a safety pin at the back to keep it in place when used.

Limited Edition Fandom Trading Card – William Shakespeare. The Fandom Trading Card I got this month is the great playwright himself, William Shakespeare. When you search for him on the internet, most of his pictures will look exactly like the one pictured on this card.

The author has penned 38 plays and 154 sonnets. He is the best-selling fiction author of all time, with an estimated 4 billion copies sold.

Twelfth Night 8×8 Quote Print. Another comedy that was written by Shakespeare, Twelfth Night is a play that centers on the twins Viola and Sebastian and a really weird love triangle between Viola, Duke Orsino, and Countess Olivia.

There’s also a sticker that features the cover of his book, The Works of William Shakespeare.

All’s Well That Ends Well Die-Cut Magnet. All’s Well That Ends Well is actually classified as one of Shakespeare’s problem plays, as it cannot be categorized as a comedy or tragedy.

Following his father’s death, Bertram, the young Count of Rossillion, leaves home to attend the court of the ailing King of France, along with his friend Parolles. Helena, the Countess’s ward, is in love with Bertram, and reveals her affection to the Countess, who is sympathetic

What I like about the ref magnets from this box is that they don’t include bulky back magnets. Just stick them to a magnetic surface and you’re good.

The Merchant of Venice Bookmark. The Merchant of Venice is a universally read play as the story speaks about the conflict between selflessness and self-interest. One of the messages of the story is clearly pictured in this bookmark.

All that glitters is not gold.

The back of the bookmark looks like a sheet of gold foil.

Measure for Measure Postcard. The postcard I got this month features a quote from the play Measure for Measure, which focuses on the themes that include justice, “mortality and mercy in Vienna,” and the dichotomy between corruption and purity.

Our doubts are traitors, and make us lose the good we oft might win, by fearing to attempt.

The back of the card has spaces for personal notes, sweet nothings, receiver’s address, and stamp.

Romeo and Juliet 8×10 Print On Premium Heavyweight Matte Card Stock. It’s a print on a premium matte card that features the most popular tragedy Shakespeare has written, Romeo and Juliet. It pictures the famous balcony scene of the young lovers.

This month’s HalfBloodPrints is really a classic as it features the well-known poet, actor, and playwright, William Shakespeare, as well as some of his notable works. The beauty of each play is pictured clearly on each item, and the message they want to bring us was also made clear. My favorite is, of course, the Romeo and Juliet print! It’s really beautiful and it will look good on a gold frame! Though most of the designs are simple, it’s what actually makes them beautiful.

Now, for the shipping status of this box and the actual month – admittedly, we’re not sure! This subscription went on hiatus and we thought it wasn’t coming back, so we were pretty surprised to get more shipments.
