This is a review of the 2.5 Years kit.

There are several info sheets illustrates each activity and gives information and instructions on how you and your kids can enjoy them.

One activity from this kit is Kick Ball.

Every kit also lists milestones for your kids. This kit has developmental milestones such as physical abilities, language skills, specific behaviors that babies or kids gain as they grow. For a 2.5-year-old kid, social and emotional milestones can be gained by having a wide range of emotion.

For cognitive milestones, children can name at least 6 body parts, colors, or calls a friend by name, while for gross/fine motor skills, the children can brush their teeth with supervision, builds a tower of blocks, can wear their own pants, and can throw a ball straighter.

There are also cards that provide ideas to make the activities more fun.

You can choose by picking one of the cards provided. For 2 1/2-year-olds, they included magazine skills, jumping lines, spoon scoop, I spy! errands, and fruit kabobs.

There’s a cute note too from the curators of the kit.

Everything in our kit! SOOO MANY TOYS!

If I Could Keep You Little By Marianne Richmond ($8.99)

If I Could Keep You Little speaks straight to every parent’s heart, exploring the powerful feeling of wanting your child to grow up while savoring every moment. A new favorite, this book showcases Marianne’s ability to beautifully illustrate the complex emotions we all have:

If I could keep you little,
I’d keep you close to me.
But then I’d miss you growing
into who you’re meant to be!

Even the fonts of this picture book are colorful! They used different colors to highlight words and phrases.

This is a really nice reading book for the kids, parents will love the contents as it explores their wishes as their child is growing up, they can savor each moment.

This is really adorable. The kids also love the colorful illustrations in the book.

Melissa & Doug Animal Magnets ($10.44) These magnets are good practice for the kids’ cognitive skills.

The set includes 20 basic animals, domestic, farm, and even those they can find in the zoo, or in the wild.

The magnets are contained in a wooden box.

The kids tried to separate the animals according to their habitat. Here, they put those animals who can live or stay in water inside the box. Other categories can be those who are pet at home, you can find in the zoo, or in a farm.

Melissa & Doug Stack & Sort Board ($9.99) Another classic toy is this stack and sort board set. It contains 15 brightly colored wood pieces.

This toy helps the kids to develop color and shape recognition, counting skills, hand-eye coordination, visual discrimination, fine motor skills, and sequencing and sorting skills.

The base that holds all the puzzle pieces has colored posts. They’re also numbered, and the kids can try to match the pieces depending on their color, and the number of pieces each color has.

Also, each color (post) has one type of shape that goes with them.

The circular green piece goes to the shortest post, while the red one, which has 5 pieces of pentagon-shaped wood goes to the longest red post.

Bristle Blocks ($31.76) Also, they included an activity where the kids will be able to build something out of bristle blocks.

This is a uniquely designed toy. It may have the same function as Legos, but the design is really different.

The kids can build easily as the blocks have softer interlocking bristles that stick together at any angle, and it’s less frustrating as compared to harder building blocks.

My kids tried to make a bristle block toy car, and here it is! The set even included wheels so its easier for the car to be moved around. All four of my kids loved this one!

Melissa & Doug Sunny Patch Dilly Dally Turtle Kickball ($9.99) For bouncing, throwing, kicking, catching, dribbling… this kickball is the perfect ball that the kids can use to have a safer play!

It’s made of durable rubber.

This toy can help kids to enjoy outdoor games, rather than just staying and playing inside the house.

Playing kickball helps develop the kids’ motor skills and even aids their hand-eye coordination.

FUN! There’s no other word to describe this box but fun! I encourage my kids to try different things and don’t just settle with the usual plays and toys that they have. I let them explore other options so that their skills will be enhanced while they’re having fun. This is a wonderful box in helping us parents to look after the kids while letting them do stuff where they learn while they’re being entertained. It feels great that I am witnessing each milestone and experiences that my kids are gaining. Our first box is surely a blast! Plus, my older kids (almost 8 and 10) loved playing with everything, as did my younger preschooler and baby. While everything was targeted perfectly to the developmental steps of a 2.5 year old, these are really toys that last! It’s such a relief to get high quality toys for my kids without lifting a finger (except for clicking that mouse!).
