I like the product info cards that Pearlesque provides, they give a brief snapshot into the featured brand.
The back of the introductory card listed each product, its retail value, and how to use each item. I like that Pearlesque also includes their own #pearltip for the products.
First peek! The packing is pretty simple, just some wadded up paper and bubble wrap that keeps everything safe. I received 2 full-sized products from L.A.-based Skin Owl.
SkinOwl’s sole mission is to educate you about your skin & deliver the best products, so that skin “care” can be the catalyst to caring about every genuinely important facet of your life. Vegan, cruelty-free, and 100% non-toxic, SkinOwl is simple, results driven skincare intended for life’s simplest of moments.
I’ve tried products from this brand before, Pearlesque featured them in December 2017.
Everything in my November Pearlesque Box! Both items came in amber glass bottles.
Skin Owl Neck+ Super Smoothing & Contouring Neck Concentrate ($68) I don’t usually give much thought to my neck, and I guess it shows! Thankfully, I now have a product to use on this delicate area.
You may also use this on face, chest, or legs. It is suitable for all skin types.
I am a little confused about the ingredients, since the website lists only about half as many as found on the label. It pretty much smells like witch hazel but the scent fades quickly. It isn’t sticky or greasy and my skin absorbed it quickly. I would suggest following with a moisturizer.
Skin Owl Beauty Whip A Deeply Soothing & Smoothing Mask ($68) Although this says it is a mask, it may also be used as a makeup primer or Beauty Drops enhancer.
It is also meant for all skin types. It was very moisturizing and smelled at first like a whiff of vanilla extract, including a bit of bite from the alcohol, then smelled a little spicy? Or maybe like cookie dough? I don’t know, but it smelled good and I liked it.
Hyaluronic acid, an ingredient that draws water to the skin, was in both products this month. Plant oils and extracts also contributed their healing and softening abilities.
My skin is ready to glow this season thanks to Pearlesque Box! Both items could be used on the face and neck and work well together. The value, whoa, was $136! I was really happy with the brand when they were featured last year so I was happy to discover different products from Skin Owl.
Psst: The December box will feature items from Flower Mill Beauty!
