The Detox Box is a monthly green and natural beauty subscription box from The Detox Market. For $49.95 each month, you’ll get a box featuring one or more green beauty products with a value of at least $90. The price decreases by $10 per month on a 6-month plan!

As you open the box, you will find feel-good messages from The Detox Box.

The products are covered with white squiggles.

This month’s featured brand is Kahina Giving Beauty by Katherine L’Heureux!

The Detox Market had a little Q and A with the maker Katherine L’Heureux, where they also shared some personal information.

I like the information card they provide! It’s complete with a product description, a list of key ingredients, and expert tips.

More info about the other featured products.

Everything in the box this month!

Kahina Giving Beauty Brightening Serum ($72 Full-Size 1 oz – listed value $6) This serum is lightweight, so it’s easily absorbed by the skin. It’s a good non-vitamin C brightening serum that increases luminosity and refines skin tone and texture for sensitive skin. I like its fresh scent too!

The blend of sea daffodil, Japanese wakame seaweed, blue tansy, and powerful antioxidants in argan oil, maritime pine, and spirulina promises to reduce discoloration and hyperpigmentation in 4 to 6 weeks. It inhibits melanin production and also beats signs of skin aging while fighting free radicals. Because it takes a while to see the results of this product, it’s really only good as a tester to see if the formula irritates you. I certainly wished for more!

Kessa Mitt ($14) This is a convenient Moroccan-inspired slip on mitt that gently exfoliates skin from neck to toes. You can use its small loop to hang it dry.

Allow your pores to open with hot water and steam. If you don’t happen to have a steam room or sauna—we recommend heating the shower before entering to allow steam to rise or soaking skin in the tub before applying to soften. Then apply Beldi Soap liberally to cover the body, working into a slight lather, and then allow it to penetrate your skin for 3 to 10 minutes.

Kahina Giving Beauty Moroccan Beldi Soap Rose ($46) Made from saponified olive oil and steam distilled Damask Rose, this formula is a traditional cleansing and skin softening treatment directly from the Moroccan hammam.

It’s naturally rich in vitamin E. The texture is gel-like and it can also be used prior to exfoliating with the Kessa Mitt, but I liked just using the mitt to scrub it on. It’s also ideal as an alternative to shower gels or soaps.

I love the refreshing rose scent upon opening! To use, just massage a tablespoon of Beldi soap onto skin and wash off for cleansing. If you want to soften the skin, you can massage it into skin after 3 minutes of bath and leave it up to 10 minutes. You can exfoliate after with the Kessa Mitt or a washcloth.

Kahina Giving Beauty Argan Oil ($36) This fair trade and high-quality argan oil is made by artisans in rural Morocco. It is delivered fresh with vitamin E and essential fatty acids that soothe irritation and protect skin against free radicals and harsh environment.

Even though it is oil, it is still lightweight on the face and not sticky at all. It is also easily absorbable. It minimizes fine lines, restores elasticity, and improves skin tone.

They gave us a full-size Beldi Soap with a unique gel-like consistency that can be used for effective cleansing and exfoliation and the Kessa Mitt to pair it with. I’m so glad I got to try the hyped Argan Oil because it is jampacked with benefits even though it is lightweight on the face. The sample-sized brightening serum is also a nice addition. This box is worth almost a hundred dollars!

Once again, the Detox Box is a win! They truly understand our need to be pampered. With these products, we are able to take care of our skin and give it the utmost attention it needs every day! Did you know their products have pure organics that are safe to be used by pregnant women? All products have a creative formula that facilitates preserving, protecting and enhancing resources.
