I received a card introducing the August box, which is the Momma Needs to Relax Box!

Companies love it when you share your awesome pictures on social media!

I received another card with each item listed on it along with its retail value.

Info continued on the back of the card.

The items were packed with paper squiggles and while nothing broke in transit, one item did leak a little.

There were even more items underneath!

There were a lot of cards in this box. This one tells how you can enter to win a Mini Momma Box.

The back of the cards gives some details about the organization they donate to each month thanks to subscribers.

Ok, let’s see what all’s in here!

The first item came with a card that has a coupon code for a shop purchase. It also lists their aromatherapy rollerball scents.

The glass item was wrapped in protective bubble wrap.

Mythic Mist Calming Blend Essential Oil Roller ($9.50) I love essential oils and aromatherapy, and I am very happy to add this blend to my collection!

The base is fractionated coconut oil blended with lavender, bergamot, palmarosa, patchouli, and lemon essential oils. I think my nose really picks up the lavender and patchouli and I love the warm, herby-floral scent.

This is in an amber-colored bottle with a rollerball applicator. I would suggest using this in the evening since some essential oils, such as citrus, can cause a nasty rash or burn when exposed to the sun.

Next was a jewelry box with a business card.

Gogh Jewelry Design Lava Stone Chakra Bracelet ($29) It’s a lava stone bracelet! The black stones are from lava and you can drop your essential oils on them for a chemical-free perfume. The other 7 stones correspond to the 7 chakras, or energy centers, of the body.

The colorful gemstones in the center correspond to the seven different chakras.

The seven chakras are the centers in our bodies in which energy flows through.
1. Root Chakra – Represents our foundation and feeling of being grounded.
2. Sacral Chakra – Our ability to accept others and new experiences.
3. Solar Pleaxus Chakra – Our ability to be confident and in control of our lives.
4. Heart chakra – Our ability to love.
5. Throat Chakra – Our ability to communicate.
6. Third Eye Chakra – Our ability to focus on and see the big picture.
7. Crown Chakra – Our ability to be fully connected spiritually.

I’m not sure what size I received but I have plus-sized wrists and I think I could wear this comfortably.

If you would like to order some more jewelry or other items from the online store then there is a coupon code to save $20 off of a $40+ order.

I found a Boxy Momma pin!

You can expect some snarky items with this subscription.

BlueQ I Actually Give A Shit Chewing Gum ($4.79) This is expensive for a pack of gum with only 8 pieces, but if you are pulling together a certain type of gift basket then products from this company will be worth it.

Even the inside of the box was in on it. The 8 pieces of gum were cinnamon-flavored.

BlueQ Instantly Control Your Family Breath Spray ($6.23) More snarky humor, which actually had me rolling.

“It’s not brainwashing if it’s for their own good…”

So silly!

The packaging is hilarious! The spray itself is a minty blast.

Blue Q Socks Women’s Crew Socks ($10.99, currently $5.49) I love getting socks in subscription boxes, they are always pretty cool or cute.

Today is Do it Tomorrow Day! Wear these when you don’t plan on doing a whole lot. Like Saturday. Or pretty much any day. Cotton/nylon/spandex blend. Fits women’s shoe sizes 5-10.

The Vintage Cosmetic Company Gel Bead Eye Mask ($8.87) This is a must-have for taking some me-time because if you are wearing this over your eyes, you can’t see how many dishes are in your sink!

One side has gel beads. You can heat this up in the microwave or place in the fridge or freezer for a cooling effect.

The other side has plush fabric and an adjustable headband with velcro.

Whiskey River Soap Co. What Kids? Bath Bomb ($8.95) This is just hilarious!

Smells like a locked door.

Don’t get me wrong, kids, of COURSE I love you. I mean, I created you! You’re the reason I get out of bed every morning (not usually by choice) and you’re the lights of my life! But for the love of Pinot Grigio, can you just give me one single half hour of complete silence?

The usual ingredients are in here: baking soda, citric acid, Epsom salts, coloring, and fragrance.

It’s about the same size as a softball. I’m not sure what the scent is but it’s fruity and a bit floral. I think it’s supposed to smell like wine.

Mommy Needs A Minute Body Scrub ($8) is supposed to smell like a margarita but is more like a lime and floral blend.

Sugar, coconut oil, fragrance and some other stuff are in this bottle. It leaked on its journey to my home. You can see a big dent on the right side but I don’t think the leak came from there since this has sat on my desk and it’s just fine.

It kind of looked like a big blob and some of the oil had separated so I gave it a good stir before using. I liked the way it exfoliated my skin but after rinsing I still felt like there was a layer of something covering my skin, but it wasn’t the usual oily layer I experience with this kind of product. It was slightly waxy and my skin still needed a moisturizer afterward. The fragrance also lingered for a couple of hours.

Lizush Shower Steamer in Eucalyptus ($3.66) Shower steamers are kind of like bath bombs, except you set it on the floor of your shower and as the water hits the steamer it helps the scent rise up and surround you with bliss. At least, that’s how it’s supposed to work, but I rarely catch any scent with this type of product.

It was certainly pretty! It had rose petals on top and two different layers. Again, it just fizzled and then washed down the drain, and unlike other steamers I’ve tried, this one left the floor of my shower slippery and I was worried about slipping so I kind of hurried it along by squashing it with my foot.

What a fun bunch of items in my very first Boxy Momma box! The products sent were very relaxing and I think there’s something in here for everyone. I may not take many baths but the shower items were fun to try. I like funky socks and the aromatherapy bracelet was just my style. I LOVED the aromatherapy rollerball and the rest of the items rounded out the box in a fun and surprising way. It doesn’t matter whether your kids are newborn or have children of their own, this box fits a range of ages, but it helps to have a sense of humor to go along with some of the sassy pants products. My items had a value of around $85, which is more than twice the price paid for the box!
