Everything in the box. Right away, I’m loving what I see!

This month features items made for the summer! The reasons behind each items is well explained.

On the reverse, we have some information about overcoming injuries.

MD Solar Sciences Sunscreen Stick. ($17). Even when you go for a quick run, you need to wear sunscreen. Sunscreen in a stick is great to grab-and-go, especially on a very hot day. So many time sunscreen in lotion has been found to have leaked all over my stuff because of the hot weather.

The stick is large enough to glide easily on the skin and cover a good area with few strokes. This is a Broad-Spectrum SPF 40 sunscreen, water resistant up to 80 minutes and has no fragrance.

KT Blister Prevention Tape. ($10) I’m old school and so far, I’ve only used normal band-aid on my sensitive areas like my middle toes (no matter how I cut my nails, they’ll still be digging and cut skin on their neighbors, even for very short 5k runs), so I’m excited to try something more appropriate.

They are quite wide and long, so I’ll probably end up cutting them in two for my toes, but they seem to be the perfect size for places like heels or around the thumbs.

Kramp Krusher Extreme Training & Endurance Chew. ($3.33 a pack) These chews taste like lightly salted lemonade, which I find really tasty! Each package contains 10 chews for two servings of electrolytes. They contain sugar, calcium, sodium, and potassium to help nerve-muscle performance.

I love electrolytes chews because I tend to get bored of drinking a flavored drink, I prefer having pure water and chews.

Honey Stinger Organic Energy Gel – Mango Orange. I love Honey Stinger Gel, even though I have a hard time opening the little sachet! Made with organic tapioca syrup, True Source Certified Honey, and electrolytes, it has a nice honey-like texture, the sweetness of mango with a zesty hint of orange. I love how they are quick to give me a boost of energy in my run, but I also have one during my cool down.

Honey Stinger Gluten-Free Organic Chocolate Mint Flavored Waffle. Once again, I love Honey Stinger snacks. The waffle is light and soft, with the center gooey. I’m not a big fan of chocolate, I prefer all their other flavor, but the mint is nice and they are still tasty! I find that they make a tasty dessert or after-run quick snack.

HEX Detergent – single dose detergent. I’ve heard good things about HEX Detergent and I’m looking forward to seeing if it can really remove the stinks from my workout clothes, and my husband’s! I’ve been hesitating as it’s a detergent quite expensive where I live, so I didn’t want to buy something that wouldn’t work in the end. I like single-use pods, especially since I travel a lot and it’s nice to be able to wash clothes before sticking them back in the suitcase!

They are liquid pods, so they will dissolve nicely in the water, but I would put them in a small plastic container to avoid poking them and breaking them in transport. They are biodegradable, eco-friendly, and contain no dyes or fillers to try and cover up smells. I’m used to scent-free detergent, so this one definitely has a light green apple-like fresh scent.

I really enjoyed my first RunLocker Box! All the gels and chews were tasty and will definitely be part of my rotation! For me, you can never go wrong with the Honey Stinger Waffles, as they are sooooo tasty! I’m also really happy to finally get to try the HEX detergent, and I hope the KT Blister Prevention Tape will replace my usual band-aids! Overall, a very nice box with new items I’m excited to try, and old favorites that are still great to get!
