Every so often we get a chance to review a brand that isn’t a subscription box. Pixi Beauty reached out to us last year asking if we would be interested in reviewing some products, and being fans we said yes!

The Glow in a Box collection comes housed in a lovely reusable box. It features two of the Gossamer Duos for cheeks and face, and five of the Liquid Fairy Lights for eyes.

Everything arrives safe and sound thanks to foam packaging.

First up are the Glow Gossamer Duos ($18 each) On the left is Subtle Sunrise, and on the right is Delicate Dew. These have the softest cream to powder texture and are effortless to use. I swatched with a finger to get a strong pigmented colour, but you can diffuse easily with a brush for a light glow.

All four shades are different, giving you a nice range of colour.

The other product featured are the Liquid Fairy Lights ($15 each). These are a glittery, glimmery liquid eyeshadow to add sparkle to any look. These dried quickly and didn’t flake at all — but removed easily with makeup remover.

From left to right: Crystaline, SunRay, RoseGold, BareBrilliance, PassionLight. I noticed a difference between the shades in terms of how well they applied. The RoseGold and BareBrilliance applied the most evenly, while the others were somewhat patchy. But all five stayed put and didn’t budge until I removed them, so that’s really impressive!

All of the products included are part of the permanent collection, so you can already purchase everything from Pixi! This collection is perfect for summer, with soft highlights and bronzey shades for your eyes!
