Something Snacks is a monthly snack subscription box that promises something new, adventurous, and something familiar – for only $13 per month. There’s always at least 1 salty, sweet, international, and health-conscious snack in every box of Something Snacks.

This month’s theme is May’s Mothers – Approved!

DEAL: Get $3 off your first box! Use coupon code TRY3NOW.

The box includes an information card containing this month’s theme and lists of all the goodies included.

The card simply names most of the snacks and country of origin, if outside the U.S., but they added a helpful feature on their site – a description and translation of ingredients for the items with foreign language packaging.

Everything in my Something Snacks May box!

Sensible Portions Garden Veggie Straws Zesty Ranch ($0.63) These veggie straws are made with garden-grown potatoes and vegetables, producing 30% less fat than the usual potato chips. It contains no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. The snack is also certified kosher and gluten-free.

Each piece is light and airy, but well flavored. I like its tangy taste!

Jack N’ Jill Magic Flakes Cheese Flavored Crackers ($0.18) Cheese flavored crackers? I’m in! There are four pieces of tasty crackers in this pack and they were immediately gone because they taste so good.

The crackers are indeed cheesy. The plain ones pair well with toppings, but this is great on its own.

Dolcetto Premium Wafer Rolls The creamy chocolate filling of these wafer rolls melt in the mouth. It’s a nice snack to have when you crave for something chocolatey and satisfying.

There are three pieces of wafer rolls in the pack.

These chocolate wafer rolls are crunchy on the outside and super creamy on the inside. Aside from eating it as a snack, it can also be served with ice cream!

Riska Choco Snack ($0.52) This yummy snack from Japan is a corn puff coated with rich chocolate.

It’s shaped like a log!

It has a satisfying crunch that pairs well with the smoothness of the chocolate. This is a great on-the-go snack!

Truly Good Foods Yogurt Pretzels I love the combination of tangy, sweet, and salty flavors on these pretzels! Unfortunately they didn’t fare too well in the heat!

The twisted pretzels are generously covered in yogurt. They’re so creamy!

Mandy’s Rich Chocolate Cookie Thins ($1) These thin and crispy hand baked chocolate cookies are sprinkled with sugar.

It’s so thin, that it easily melts in your mouth without the need to chew it. They are like thin and crispy Oreos, except natural and without that pesky filling.

Popcorners Carnival Kettle ($0.60) Popped snacks make a healthier alternative to the usual greasy chips! This one’s made of corn and is also gluten-free and verified non-GMO.

I find its texture quite rough but it surely has a fantastic taste. You can either take them to the movies or in your lunch bag or simply enjoy it alone with your favorite dips.

Many of the snacks from this month’s Something Snacks box are made using natural, non-GMO, and gluten-free ingredients. It’s a great discovery subscription of delicious and healthy snacks, not just from the US but from other parts of the world as well. They also keep their snack choices varied, and they make it a point to include salty snacks, sweets, and healthy treats. For $13 per month, getting a variety of snacks like this makes for a fun little box.
