Oreo lovers, the OREO Cookie Club has just launched! Inside every box are two deliciously different OREO experiences (a new flavor, or a familiar favorite) with fun OREO swag and a delicious recipe. It’s $59.97 per quarter and ships monthly for free! Every box comes with two OREO flavors, a one-of-a-kind OREO inspired gift, and a recipe card.

So much blue in this box!

The card features a high-quality photo of the month’s featured recipe on one side…

…and complete ingredients plus cooking instructions on the other side. We would be excited to try these Oreo Bunny Cookie Ball Pops were it not for demolishing the single pack of OREOs we received in this box…

There is a sweet note from the Oreo Cookie Club on the bottom of the box. Do we think life is sweeter in the club? Let’s find out.

Everything inside the March 2018 box!

Oreo With Marshmallow Peeps Flavor Creme ($2.99) Peeps are marshmallow candies, and this limited edition Oreo sandwich has them as creme filling!

Easter is nearing so the bunny and chick designs on these cookies are perfect! Also, it comes in a resealable pack with easy-pull tab to keep the cookies fresh. It’s perfect for snacking, sharing, or even when traveling.

Instead of forming the peeps into animals, mostly those associated with Easter, they are engraved in each cookie, while the beautiful purple peeps flavors are sandwiched in between! I want to dunk these yummies in a glass of milk! They have also incorporated crunchy sugar crystals into the filling. These are what regular OREO cookies should taste like, every day. Can someone please replace standard OREOs for me? Ok thanks.

Milka Oreo Big Crunch Bar ($5.97?) Milka and Oreo came up with the perfect combination of rich and creamy chocolate, cookies, and cream! This bar is 3x the size of the bar we linked to – it’s really crazy giant!

It also comes in a resealable pack that ensures freshness.

It’s really enormous so it’s perfect for sharing with your whole family, or friends!

I snapped the whole bar in half. Look at that overwhelming amount of cream that makes the treat more delectable!

There’s also a cookie lining at the bottom, it’s truly delicious. Dunking in milk not necessary. This was a hit with the whole family.

Also included is a coupon that allows you to get one free Oreo chocolate candy bar (the regular size).

The coupon is valid until 8/31/2018.

Oreo Sunglasses. Is it summer yet? This pair of sunglasses come with a protective pouch filled with Oreo cookie prints.

The white frame is reminiscent of an Oreo cookie’s cream filling. Not so sure if the lenses can filter harmful UV rays, but it looks like it.

The frame is really fun with the Oreo cookies printed on the arm.

The sunglasses match the pouch! They’re super cute, but I really wish I knew whether or not they were UV protective (this is one of my subscription box pet peeves).

Lastly, there’s a note regarding our subscription…

…and they included a 15% off coupon code we can use when we renew our subscription.

The value of my Oreo items adds up to $8.96 – and the claimed retail value of this subscription is $24.99. Knocking out a dollar for the freebie coupon (which I have to go to the store to redeem) that leaves a $15 value for the Oreo branded sunglasses – no way! This subscription really need to be sending 3-4 edible items plus the promotional item for me to think the value is really there. Did we think everything was delicious? Yes. Do we like having Oreo sunglasses? Yes. But having to commit to 3 boxes at a time for a few things of Oreos that aren’t exclusive or even hard to find is crazy. And who would smash up the ONE sleeve of Oreos they got in the box to make cakepops? Even crazier! That being said we totally bought another round of this value trainwreck of a subscription in hopes that they’ll get it together.  The best value I can see for this subscription is as a corporate gift and require the branding and presentation to be this on point, which it is. Unfortunately for many legacy retail and even online retailers getting a hang of the subscription business proves extremely difficult, and the Oreo Cookie Club is one of the prime examples of that.
