Macy’s Beauty Box is a monthly subscription that delivers five deluxe beauty samples, one bonus item, and a collectible cosmetics bag for $15 per month. Beauty Box subscribers also get an exclusive $5 beauty coupon that can be use online and in-store.

The items safely arrived inside a pouch.

The theme this month is NATURAL WONDERS.

Each month comes with a Macy Beauty Box booklet.

There is a $5 coupon at the back of the booklet. These coupons aren’t stackable from one month to the next. BUT there’s free shipping on all Macy’s Beauty orders. Check out these categories sorted from low to high price: Bath & Body, Natural BeautyMakeup, Skincare, and Travel-size.

This month I picked up the Burt’s Bee’s Coconut & Pear lip balm duo for 80¢ after coupon. I actually found a few $5 items but got checkout errors – even though their system states a $5 minimum to use the coupon. I have purchased this before with my code and needed more!

The information booklet gives you a list of all the items included in the box.

Everything in the April 2018 Macy’s Beauty Box!

This time, instead of a beauty bag, the items are placed in an adorable drawstring pouch. I’m thinking it will be great to scent my clothes in drawers – maybe with a bar of fancy soap?

TonyMoly I’m Real Sheet Mask Green Tea Mask Sheet ($3) It is a 3-layer pulp sheet filled with natural ingredients and soaked in different types of enriched essences: water, micro-emulsion, milky lotion. The sheet mask promises to give maximum hydration to skin.

The ingredients of this mask target different type of skin concerns, and helps transform dull and tired skin to become healthy and moisturized.

Bareminerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream (approximately $3.43) This is a BB cream, CC cream, and tinted moisturizer in one! I like the dewy sheer-to-medium coverage that leaves my skin with a radiant, soft, and smooth finish. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin, and there’s no greasy residue too!

There are 10 gorgeous shades available, and we got 4 of them: vanilla, natural, tan, and chestnut.

The creams contain marine botanicals to help replenish thirsty skin and mineral electrolytes to help energize skin. It’s great that they sent several colors to try so it’s easier for me to find one that matches my skin tone.

Coola Face Mineral Sunscreen BB Cream ($3.60) Hypoallergenic and certified organic, this mineral BB cream gives your skin an immediate line-smoothing matte finish while fighting signs of aging caused by the sun. The main ingredients include rose hip oil, which is known to fight free radicals. It’s lightly tinted and unscented. You just have to apply it generously and let your skin absorb it before sun exposure. Loved this one and will definitely use the entire tube.

Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream ($10.33) I couldn’t get enough of this eye cream! It brightens and depuffs the eye area with the help of caffeine from coffee beans, panax ginseng, magnolia extract, and natural optic brighteners. The effect is instant, and it works well under makeup too! You just have to gently dab the cream around the eye area using your fingertips. It can be used in the morning and reapplied as needed.

Korres Wild Rose Advanced Brightening Sleeping Facial ($24) Infused with wild rose oil and vitamin C, this fluffy cream is ideally applied at night to even out skin tone and wake up with a brighter skin in the morning. With continued use, it also promises to repair fine lines and keep the skin soft and moisturized. Another key ingredient is hyaluronic acid, which helps enhance collagen reproduction. It’s fast absorbing, so you can apply it right before going to bed. I liked the texture and am hoping it helps with my skin tone!

Schmidt’s Rose+Vanilla Natural Deodorant ($1.94) Instead of aluminum, this deodorant relies on plant-based powders to absorb wetness. It’s cruelty-free and it also effectively neutralizes odor minus the sticky feeling on the underarms.

It’s gentle on skin and the ngredients include arrowroot, coconut oil, and shea butter. I just haven’t ever been able to get behind natural deodorant, but my husband uses it. Do you think we can get him on board with rose & vanilla?

Everything in this box retails for about a total of $46! The facial cream and eye cream are on my list of favorites because I can really use them to take care of my skin and deflect the obvious signs of aging. Most of the items this month are pretty useful, and I’m just happy that they all focus on natural ingredients. Plus I think the value multiplier of about 3x is good for this subscription – I’m liking the newer focus on the pricier premium products.
