lookfantastic Beauty Box is a monthly beauty subscription from the UK. This box is currently $22 per month, but goes down to $16.50 per month on an annual plan and ships free to the US and Canada! In every box, you’ll get a hand-picked selection of must-have beauty fixes, which are wrapped in a beautifully presented box and delivered straight to your door. It will always include a minimum of six products and the latest issue of Elle UK!

There is a magazine by Look Fantastic in each box as well – this includes the product information, makeup tutorials, style highlights, and other features. I really like the way the mag is laid out, often there are interviews, beauty tutorials, and spotlights on the products and brands included in the month’s box. They’ve reformatted the mag since last year, and it now has more details about the items included with tips and directions on how to use.

The latest issue of ELLE UK is always included.

I really love how much care is taken in presentation, from the colour-coordinated squiggles and tissue to the little sticker with the month’s theme printed on it.

Dr Botanicals Bergamot and Poppy Seed Soap ($27.86) — This soap smells AMAZING and scented the entire box. I do think that $27 for soap is a bit… ridiculous. But it has scrubby poppy seeds in it to exfoliate the skin, and it’s all vegan.

Nip+Fab Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads ($2.15) — Glycolid acid is an AHA and is gentle enough for dry skin. These are small pre-soaked pads that you can use to gently exfoliate. This small tub has 10 pads.

Nuxe 48 Hour Moisturizing Cream ($10.65) — Vegetable milks and algae makes this a gentle moisturizing cream that lasts up to 48 hours!

GlamGlow SuperMud Treatment ($17.70) — This formulation of the GlamGlow mask is meant to help clear up acne prone skin. You can also use it as a spot treatment. It has both AHA and BHA in it to help clear out clogged pores.

Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm ($9) — I love a good cleansing balm, especially one without microplastics in it (many do)! This is a heavenly scented cleansing balm with grapeseed oil, almond oil, and orange, neroli, and mandarin essential oils. I found it was much thicker than the balms I am used to working with, and didn’t melt as nicely as my favourites. It removed my face makeup fine but I didn’t like how it removed my eye makeup — too much tugging!

Pure Fully Charged Mascara ($10) — This mascara apparently has some sort of magnetic technology in it, neat! I love these small sizes as they’re great for travel, so I’m saving this one for my trip. I’m interested to see how it performs!

lookfantastic always puts together an interesting box. I love when it features brands I’m not familiar with, and trying the Emma Hardie cleanser was definitely new for me. Looking forward to next month’s box!
