The Detox Box is a monthly green and natural beauty subscription box from The Detox Market. For $49.95 each month, you’ll get a box featuring one or more green beauty products with a value of at least $90. The price decreases by $10 per month on a 6 month plan!

As you open the box, you will find feel-good messages from The Detox Box.

This month’s featured product brand is Hynt Beauty by Meryl Marshall!

The Detox Market had a little Q and A with the maker Meryl Marshall, where she also shared some personal information.

I like the information card they provide! It’s complete with a product description, a list of key ingredients, and expert tips.

Like this one where they shared more info about the featured product, the Sun Prep.

Can’t wait to dig in!

Everything in the box this month!

Hynt Beauty Flawless Blending Sponge ($8) This sponge is useful for creating a flawless makeup base, as well as in contouring or blending color layers. It’s oblong and palm-sized, providing a comfortable grip and easy control.

It will help you have a well-blended finish, whether you’re using a creamy concealer, powder based foundation, or blushes. The sponge is also easy to clean and durable, so everyday washing is recommended. Best of all, it’s latex-free!

Hynt Beauty Alto Matte Blush In Nude Apricot ($3) The blush comes in Nude Apricot, a tan-peach blend that leaves a finish of a soft-bronzer with a subtle flush of pink.

It’s a titanium dioxide-free matte, which provides a subtle hint of color to the cheeks. It’s also easy to pair with various eye and lip makeup colors.

Hynt Beauty Sun Prep Broad Spectrum ($55) This formula naturally protects and shields your delicate skin from UVA/UVB by utilizing a barrier of protection with non-nano particle, micronized titanium dioxide. It soothes and protects the skin, and at the same time, creates a flawless base for makeup application.

It also helps prevent sunburn, and decreases the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging caused by sun exposure. Plus it’s full of soothing natural extracts!

To use, apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Ingredients include pine bark extract, organic sesame seed oil, organic aloe vera leaf, organic rhatany root extract, and organic green tea leaf. It’s also lightweight and transparent, with a non-greasy finish. I never use chemical sunscreen on my face because I’m super sensitive to it, so I was thrilled with this high-end mineral sunscreen primer!

Hynt Beauty Finale Finishing Powder ($59) Asilky-smooth, ultra-fine milled powder that color corrects and sets makeup. It gives skin an airbrushed finish, plus it hydrates and absorbs oil to keep skin balanced.

It is made of skin-loving organic arrowroot, which is suitable for all skin types. The powder can also be worn on bare, moisturized skin for a fresh but polished look.

They are offering 3 shades that cater to a wide range of skin tones and needs, and I got the Translucent Pearl. This shade provides a transparent finish and works best with fair to lighter skin tones. It also reduces redness without adding any color or weight on the skin.

The light-as-air powder is sweat resistant and effectively absorbs oil throughout the day. It does not dry, cake, or settle into fine lines. I also like the fact the container is really compact and designed for easier use and application.

I am quite happy with the featured brand this month, as well as the variety of items which included not just make-up but also a skin protection product. I love the finishing powder and the blush that gives me just the right flushed look for casual days. I also found the Sun Prep amazing, it’s still winter but it doesn’t mean we don’t need to protect our skin from the UVA/UVB rays. Again, it’s a great haul of green and natural beauty products from The Detox Box! I’m looking forward to discovering more clean beauty brands through this subscription!
