The stuff inside the box is wrapped with a thin paper and secured with a cute sticker.

I am seeing lots of cute things!

The info card lists all the items inside the box, and their retail price. This month’s Quirky Crate is all about the 90s!

They even introduced Lisa Liidemann, a Toronto-based graphic artist!

Everything in my box!

The box design really reminded me of the 90s! Look at that classic toy, the tamagotchi!

Beach Please Cap ($18) Beach please! I love the cap’s design and colors, it calls for a summer getaway! It came completely prepped with the brim pre-curled. I’m sure there’s a name for that, but I’m not sure what it is!

This pretty cap has a metal back closure and it’s pretty adjustable. The only quibble I have with this is that if it was really 90s it would have been AIRBRUSHED! (I totally have a little sailor’s hat with my name airbrushed on it surrounded by 2 pink and purple hearts.) That would have been legit 90s.

Hamburger Cross Body ($18) This cross body bag looks like a big jampacked hamburger!

The bag is roomy enough for a few essentials, like a phone, a lipstick, and a compact mirror.

The bag has a metal chain, so you can easily hang it on your shoulders and bring it along wherever you go. Also it looks just like a little hamburger mouth when you look down at it.

It’s really adorable. There’s even a patty, slices of tomatoes, cheese, lettuce, and onions! My husband thought it was the best item of the entire month, and I agree. I love all food themed accessories. How am I supposed to decide between this bag and my pizza purse?

Troll Pencil ($3) Gotta love a classic troll with furry up-combed hair!

Having a troll as a pencil topper is a real classic. The one we got has a bluish purple hair and is mounted atop a Quirky Crate pencil.

Be Happy Patch ($5) Another 90s fashion thing that seems to be a recurring trend are patches. I’m so glad to receive one from this box! It’s a cute and shiny smiley patch!

This will look great on a denim jacket or even on bags and totes and the Smiley is for all generations!

Marimo Enamel Pin ($10) This month’s pin came from featured artist Lisa Liidemann, and it’s the classic VHS tape! So nostalgic!

Before Netflix, there was VHS or Video Home System (and before that, Betamax, but I digress…). This is the perfect thing to remind us of those days when we had to record our favorite TV shows just so we could watch them over and over! I also love the retro colors on this pin and the rad rainbow that is inspired by the Polaroid box.

BFF Partners & Crime Bracelets ($14) It’s a pair of friendship bracelets! So cute, especially the composition notebook card they came on!

Each bracelet features half of a whole heart design. When together, it says “partners in crime”!

The bracelets also come with an extender (about 9″ total) and a clamp enclosure. I’m gifting one to bestie shortly – we’re going to get a great giggle out of it!

Ring Pop ($1) Sweet and fun, this ring pop brings back lots of memories!

This sour treat comes in watermelon flavor. It tastes mostly artificial, but kids would probably enjoy this, just like you did.

It looks like a green gem in a plastic ring. Such cute bling!

90’s Babe Sticker Pack ($6.75) We are so happy to get another set of cute and colorful stickers. Of course, the designs mostly appeal to 90s kids!

It comes with pop icons from that decade like the floppy disc, cordless telephone, tamagotchi, ring pop, and a UFO! Of course you stored your sappy 90s teenage lyrics on a floppy.

Sailor Moon Socks ($7) This is really kawaii! The socks feature Artemis, the famous cat from Sailor Moon!

It’s pink and really comfy too!

Artemis is one of the fun characters from the anime, and I love seeing him included in this box! It really brings back childhood memories!

This is one of the best boxes from Quirky Crate so far! The 90s theme is wonderful as it brings back a lot of memories, except I admit about half of them remind me more of my 80s childhood than my 90s youth. I can’t stop smiling while looking at the items and I also can’t help but reminisce about those fun times. As usual, everything they sent is cute and useful.  Plus, hamburger purse, which even my hubby is proactively like WAT THIS IS THE GREATEST! If you’re like me who’s a sucker for anything kawaii and quirky and want a good supply of patches, pins, and purses in that style, this subscription is a must-try!
