Like the previous months, we received a single commercially available craft kit.
It arrived much like an Amazon package does ship in a larger cardboard box with bubble packs.

The Creativity for Kids Light-Up Heart Marquee Craft Kit retails for $13.99 at Target. You can spend quality time with your little girl with this fun and colorful activity. It’s disappointing that this is priced lower than the subscription (actually I think it’s unacceptable) but my daughter’s eyes lit up just like the marquee.
All the materials that you need to create the heart shaped marquee are included in the box.
It’s a a great canvas to start with. It has black outlines of flowers on the front of the heart or flip it so you can create your own design.
Here’s my daughter at work. She’s really taking this seriously!
This is what she has started with using glitter glue.
The design possibilities are endless! She decided to make her own design (and note that this photo is edited to remove her name). So colorful and glittery with lots of hearts. She decided to use the glitter glue from the December box to decorate it!
Target Arts & Craft Kit offers different activities that encourage a child to be creative. It’s also a great opportunity to create and spend quality time with the family. My daughter had a great time working on this project! This month’s selection is gender specific and in our experience less than 25% of the selections are what I’d call gender neutral craft kits. My daughter has been enjoying the crafts so we’ll continue to subscribe, but this subscription isn’t for everyone. Target refunded me $1 but it took some hassling to get them to understand the issue!
