Spooky Box Club December 2017 Subscription Box Review – Abominable Box

Spooky Box Club is a subscription box filled with anything cute, witchy, gothic, and anything spooky. Each box costs £21 per month, and a portion of the proceeds from each box purchased is donated to a worthy cause. IMPORTANT: Please note the turnaround for receiving the box is usually 8 or more weeks, and there is no set shipping date for this box. If you complain or inquire about where your box is, you may find your purchase cancelled. If you are interested in this box, basically sign up and wait! This is box number 35. The theme is Abominable Box. All the items in the box are covered and protected. And there are lots of items in there! The box included an information card. It’s a straightforward list of all the things in the box. Everything in my box! 2018 Calendar Print. It’s a spooky yet colorful calendar card! It’s small so you can insert it to your notebook or journal for a quick reference. Hibernate Sweater Pin. Enamel pins are a staple in this subscription. This month, we got a sweater-shaped pin and it says Time to Hibernate! Blue Drop Charm. This blue drop charm resembles a sapphire. You can add it to any bracelet, necklace, or key chain. Little Skull Knitted Scarf. This black knitted scarf has fringes on the ends. It looks cute and, most importantly, it’ll keep me from shivering in this cold weather! The skull designs look like it was taken from a 90s video game. Handcrafter Gourmet Lollipop. Another Spooky Box staple is this extreme-flavored lollipop. It was handmade and packaged in the UK. It looks so good with that swirl of red and green! Skully Snowflake Pendant. This. is. GORGEOUS! The pendant looks really beautiful, I don’t mind wearing it all the time this season! This is so subtle that when I finished unboxing this box I was left scratching my head at how… vanilla this box is, but it turns out that I just needed to look harder at the snowflake. Will it be too much if I add the blue drop charm I got earlier? I don’t think so! This piece is all about beauty and elegance. I can just take off the other charms when I don’t feel like wearing them all in one go! Gingerbread House Mug Topper Cookie Cutter. We love gingerbread houses, so we’re happy to receive these cookie cutters. We can finally make our own take on the ridiculous $10 mug topper! Also included is a gingerbread recipe. It comes in 3 pieces and I am sure that when we do the gingerbread house, it’ll be easy to assemble! Haunted Holiday Tree Decorations. It’s waaaay waaaay different from normal holiday decor, but I love it! It’ll make any tree look uniquely cool but still festive. I love this Spooky Box with seasonal items. Who says the holidays can’t be a mix of festive and spooky? My favorites are the necklace and the scarf, I’m definitely going to wear them because they’re super cute! Although the box didn’t feel full this month, it was still a nice selection of spooky-cute items.
