Barkbox is a monthly subscription box just for dogs. Each box has 4-6 dog products and are customized to the size of your pup, plus it has a cute theme that you and your dog will get a kick out of.
This Barkbox is for small dogs like our miniature schnauzers, Lindy and Dean, but you can get them for medium and large dogs too. Check out our Barkbox reviews for a peek at the big dog boxes! NEW: the heavy chewer box!
The theme of this month’s box was PARADISE UNLEASHED!
BarkBox always does a great job of making the box decor, treat and toy selections fit the theme. We loved the bark-ini top!
BarkBox also includes a recipe of Strawberry Piña Colada, both for the pups and their human!
The information card features an illustration of this month’s plush toys. The box contains one of the premium toys (selected at random), but you can get any of them in the online shop.
This month’s custom paper features a Paradise for the pups! Look at them having the time of their lives on the beach! Very cool illustration!
Do seals bark? They’re (sea) dogs too!
Everything in this month’s box!
Koha Bacon Me Crazy Pork Flavored Dog Treat. Who doesn’t love bacon? Everybody does and, of course, it includes our pups Dean and Lindy. This treat smelled strongly of bacon, so they can’t help but wag their tails like crazy when we opened it. They also enjoyed chewing on it and kept asking for more. So far, every Koha dog treat we received through BarkBox is tasty and high-quality.
Penny The Pineapple Plush Toy ($12) Dean’s new best friend is in a form of a juicy fruit. Penny is fun and full of surprises as it has a spiky ball core and a hidden bonus toy.
Tiki Twins Tug Plush Toy. Tug is a fun game to play and this Tiki-inspired plush toy is perfect for this month’s tropical theme! We all went wild over the squeaky tiki!
Bark Cow-Abunga Beef Dog Treats. Ideal as a snack or as a reward, these square dog treats are flavored with real beef.
Both of our pups love beef and they really enjoyed these savory and chewy treats.
It is fully sourced and made in the USA so it’s worry-free! Also, it contains molasses and natural smoke flavor that the pups were excited about.
Treat Simple Coconut Shrimp Soft & Chewy Dog Treats. Since this month’s theme is Paradise, how about enjoying some sea food?
It’s different from the usual dog treats we receive because its main ingredient is shrimp. The treats also come in tablet-like bite-sized pieces.
These treats are also great as a treat or reward.
Penny and Dean looks like they’re getting along with each other!
Dean is waiting for someone to play tug with!
The theme for this month’s BarkBox is so fun, and everything we received is indeed fit for bringing to paradise. The plushies are cute, especially Penny the Pineapple! The dog treats are also great, especially the bag of shrimp treats. It’s a new flavor for our pups, and I could tell that they liked it very much because they wagged their tails and talked a LOT. BarkBox always win in the creativity category as the box is always well-thought out, same as the themes they come up with. You can even customize the subscription to your dog’s size so you’re sure to get the toys and treats that really suit your beloved furbaby!
