Vegan Cuts Quarterly Makeup Box is a seasonal cruelty-free makeup subscription with 4 or more FULL-SIZE vegan makeup products inspired by the season. The makeup box includes customisation – a survey is sent out a month prior to shipping allowing you to give first and second choices for shades.
This quarter’s theme is A Cause of Celebration!
We were sent four items with a special bonus!
Green Tea Primer ($29.50) — I’ve received this primer before. It applies liked a dream and is super smooth and soft… but I find it peels awfully after a while like a sunburn. I don’t think it plays nice with my sunscreen so that might be why.
Osea Atmosphere Protection Cream ($48) — Vegan Cuts introduced me to Osea and I love their products now. The cream is light but has a healthy blend of oils and Shea butter to seal hydration in.
Ofra Translucent Loose Powder ($23) — A light and cool toned setting powder that feels soooo sheer and light. I don’t wear foundation but this can be used to minimize any sort of shine which is great.
100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Eyeshadow ($26) — This line reminds me a lot of the Juice Beauty line because they both use pigments from fruit and vegetables. This shade is Halo which is a shimmering pearl.
Inika Organic Lip Tint ($22) — A lip tint featuring coconut oil to keep lips hydrated and soft.
Here’s a swatch… I wasn’t very impressed by how streaky and patchy it was.
This season’s box had some nice makeup and skincare items. I’m most excited for the Osea moisturizer but I also like the Ofra powder and the eyeshadow.
