Loot Crate DX is a deluxe monthly subscription box from Loot Crate. It’s themed with the regular Loot Crate theme, except it contains premium next level loot for discerning geeks! It’s like a special edition box from Loot Crate – every month!

Wonder what these Aurebesh words mean? Refer to the bottom of the box!

Oooh, there’s an awesome figure included in this box!

Here you go! On the bottom of the box is the English translation of the Aurebesh words printed on the top lid… and it’s our favorite Star Wars quote! May the force be with you!

The box comes with a tri-fold booklet.

The theme this month is STAR WARS! After being largely absent from Loot Crate for many moons it’s exciting to have a 100% Star Wars box!

The booklet gives you a list of all the items in the box. It’s super sturdy and has a nice premium feel.

All the Loot Crate DX goodies this month!

We received a coupon for a freebie!

Loot Crate DX December 2017 Dosmit Raeh’s Enamel Pin. Every month, a cool enamel pin is included in the box. This month, we got Dosmit Raeh’s helmet.

Dosmit Raeh, a female starfighter pilot who also served as a captain in the Alliance to Restore the Republic, may have not made an appearance on the series but her flight helmet did. It was recovered by the young desert scavenger, Rey.

Star Wars Jedi Journal. This faux leather bound journal features the Jedi Order symbol and some Aurebesh writings that made it really cool.

Like what’s on the box, the back of the journal reveals that those Aurebesh words on the front cover mean “May the force be with you”!

There’s more Aurebesh writings when you open the journal. For those who are not familiar, Aurebesh was a writing system used to transcribe Galactic Basic, one of the most used languages in the Star Wars galaxy.

There’s another page with the English translations. Apparently, these are wise words from Yoda.

Yes, a Jedi’s strength flows from the Force. But beware of the dark side. Anger, fear, aggression; the dark side of the Force are they. Easily they flow, quick to join you in a fight. If once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny, consume you it will, as it did Obi-Wan’s apprentice.

The pages are all blank so you can write, doodle or make bullet journal entries on it. It has a bookmark too.

R2-D2 RealD 3D Glasses. We also received a pair of limited edition 3D glasses released by RealD as a promotion for The Last Jedi.

We got the R2-D2 design and it really captured the droid’s appearance.

It’s gray in front with blue accents, while the arms are white. It also features the Star Wars logo on the sides.

Although you can only use it on screenings in 3D theaters, it’s still an awesome item to add to your Star Wars collection.

Star Wars Rey Mighty Muggs Figure. The featured figure in this month’s box is Rey, a female Jedi and scavenger!

The figure is holding a lightsaber and it looks so cool and cute!

Rey’s facial expression can be changed from angry to super angry…

…to happy! You just need to push down the figure’s head to do so.

I’m really loving this hyper-stylized figure!

It’s like a POP figure, but better because of her changing facial expressions!

Star Wars Jedi Shirt. Here’s another Jedi Order item. I’m happy it’s a wearable!

The almost fading hue of the symbol added a charm to the straightforward design.

It also features the iconic franchise logo…

There are Aurebesh words printed on the sleeves, and it says “use the force.”

BONUS: BB-8 Socks. I don’t mind receiving a bonus item to make up for delays, but I don’t think an identical item from past boxes is good enough!

The bonus item is a pair of BB-8 socks, and I believe it’s the third time I got this pair of socks!

They included a note that the lightsaber replica didn’t made it on time and they apologized for the delay.

They also included the specifications of the replica that make it worth the wait.

They’re comfy and soft, though and if I wait long enough my entire family can get outfitted in these socks.

The December Loot Crate DX box was filled with awesome Star Wars items which will absolutely make the Wookies delighted. However, our most anticipated item is delayed! It’s great that they included a note apologizing for the delay and a bonus item, but since it’s a repeat we can’t help be a teeny bit disappointed once again. Everything else was great, and maybe when the lightsaber replica finally arrives, it will feel like a more valuable box. I’m happy to see an all Star Wars box, but really rooting for Loot Crate to correct their delay and manufacturing issues.
